The Opportunity: Implements tactical and operational goals focused on software build, release, deployment, and configuration management, ensuring seamless application delivery. Contributes to the implementation of new automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and deployment standards. Manages software deployment projects and operational processes, coordinating release schedules, dependency tracking, and integration workflows. Works on diverse, multifaceted challenges where analysis requires evaluating software performance, system compatibility, and implementation risks. Derives solutions based on limited precedent, applying best practices in release engineering, infrastructure automation, and software quality assurance to maintain stability and efficiency. Communicates regularly with internal stakeholders, including development, QA, IT operations, and product teams, as well as external vendors and cloud service providers to ensure timely implementation and support. Senior SAP Hybris Developer: Role Overview: As a Senior member of the e-commerce technology team, the developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure e-commerce solutions using SAP Hybris and manage junior members. Key Responsibilities: Architect & Lead E-commerce Platforms: Design and drive scalable, high-performance, and secure end-to-end e-commerce architectures aligned with enterprise strategy, industry best practices, and long-term business goals. Technical Leadership & Solution Design: Lead the design and development of complex e-commerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP CC), Java, Spartacus/Angular, Node.js, Spring Framework, and modern microservices-based architectures. Enterprise Integration Strategy: Architect and oversee seamless integrations with enterprise ecosystems including ERP, CRM, payment gateways, SSO, middleware, and external third-party services, ensuring reliability and scalability. Domain Expertise & Optimization: Provide deep functional and technical expertise across core e-commerce domains such as customer profiles, product catalog, shopping cart, checkout flows, payments, pricing, quotes, and order management systems. Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with business stakeholders (marketing, sales, finance, product, and IT leadership) to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and drive digital transformation initiatives. Mentorship & Team Development: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, enforce coding standards, conduct design reviews, and foster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Engineering Excellence & Governance: Establish best practices for code quality, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, performance tuning, and security compliance. Lead code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical audits. Performance, Scalability & Reliability: Proactively monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability for high-traffic, business-critical e-commerce platforms. Innovation & Modernization: Evaluate and implement modern technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns (e.g., headless commerce, microservices, cloud-native solutions) to future-proof the platform. Stakeholder Communication & Delivery Ownership: Take ownership of technical delivery, manage risks, provide estimations, and communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on timelines, scope, and quality expectations. Requirements: v 8+ years of E-Commerce development with at least 6 years in SAP Hybris Commerce / SAP Cloud Commerce. v Hands on Experience on SAP Hybris Core Architecture, Backoffice Cockpits, Impex, SmartEdit and PCM/Backoffice Customization v Knowledge of Zul backend development and Solr search index build / querying v Hybris Item Types and Catalog Management: In-depth knowledge of product information management and catalog structures. v Understanding of order processes, payment, shipping, and returns. Knowledge of customer profiles, segmentation, and personalization. Understanding of discount mechanisms, pricing rules, and promotions. v Experience integrating Hybris with external systems (ERP, CRM, PIM, etc.). v Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS, Transactions), Restful API, JSON, XML/XSLT, Java script, Angular / React v Experience on open-source tools and frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, ANT, MAVEN, JUNIT. v Good knowledge and understanding of DOM, HTML, CSS and JavaScript OOP, MVC, Responsive, Javacript/Jquery and object-oriented concepts. v Experience on either of Application Servers – JBOSS, Tomcat. v Experience working with Apache/Nginix. v Knowledge and understanding of relational database structure and design using Azure Sql server / Oracle / PostgreSql v Proficiency in Git for code management and collaboration. v Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.
