We are looking for a motivated and curious Medical Trainee to join our Immunology Medical Affairs team in Portugal . This opportunity is designed for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is interested in developing a career in the pharmaceutical industry and gaining practical experience in Medical Affairs, with a specific focus on the Immunology therapeutic area . The Medical Trainee will work closely with the Immunology Medical Affairs team and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to support scientific and medical activities related to AbbVie’s Immunology portfolio. Key Responsibilities Support the Medical Affairs team in the preparation and review of scientific and medical materials. Conduct literature reviews and summarize relevant scientific evidence. Assist with the development of medical education materials and internal scientific presentations. Support the organization of scientific meetings, advisory boards and congress activities. Contribute to the preparation of responses to medical information requests. Collaborate with colleagues from Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Pharmacovigilance and Commercial teams. Monitor developments in relevant therapeutic areas and communicate key insights to the team. Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with AbbVie policies, local regulations and industry codes. University degree in  Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences  or a related field. Previous academic or professional exposure to Medical Affairs, clinical research or the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage. Good understanding of scientific literature and evidence-based medicine. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and international environment. Fluent in  Portuguese and English . Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
