About Site Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. Position Summary We have an opportunity for an Analytics Scientist I to join our team. This role involves working on diverse projects with a focus on analytical techniques and laboratory operations. You will contribute to method development, validation, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with standards. This position offers the chance to take on technical responsibilities and collaborate with a skilled team. Shift: Mon to Fri 8am-4:30pm Location: Kansas City, MO 100% Onsite The Role Develop and execute laboratory work plans and schedules independently, using customer milestones and site performance standards Handle sample types including in-process, release, or stability using techniques such as HPLC, UV/Vis, Disintegration, and Dissolution with apparatus types 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 Perform method development, validation, and transfer activities Author technical documents including protocols, test methods, reports, certificates of analysis, and operating procedures Review technical documents for accuracy, thoroughness, and regulatory compliance Direct work of technical staff, including assigning tasks Act as Technical Lead with responsibility for project outcomes and customer interaction Execute efficiency improvement projects with guidance Identify and recommend business opportunities on a project-specific basis Train others on laboratory techniques Perform other duties as assigned The Candidate Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related life science or physical science and 6+ years of related work experience Ability to proactively address work issues at both individual and team levels Strong ability to process, maintain, and interpret data Understanding of instrument operations and troubleshooting skills in multiple techniques Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers Well organized with the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently Preferred Skills & Background Master's degree in a related life science or physical science field with 4+ years of related work experience preferred Dissolution testing experience preferred Previous experience with EMPOWER preferred Why You Should Join Catalent Defined career path and annual performance review and feedback process Diverse, inclusive culture Potential for career growth on an expanding team within an organization dedicated to preserving and bettering lives Competitive paid time off plus 8 paid holidays Community engagement and green initiatives Medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day one of employment Tuition reimbursement Catalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career!
