Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Key Account (Sales) Executive to join our team in supporting Central Illinois! If you have experience in inside sales, business development, customer service, or account management and are looking for a career path with greater autonomy, client relationship ownership, and growth potential, Labcorp has an exciting opportunity for you. As a Key Account (Sales) Executive , you'll manage and grow a territory across Central Illinois , including Springfield, Champaign, Danville, and surrounding areas , serving as a trusted partner to healthcare providers while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Application window : 09/10 - 09/15/26 Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000 All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Variable Compensation (Sales Positions): The position is also eligible for commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan. Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. Job Responsibilities Educate, instruct and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory Act as a liaison between the client and the Labcorp operations team in relation to client needs Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to customer base Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service Recommend solutions that are client focused and persuasive Provide account management for client’s day-to-day operations Upsell current book of business to increase organic growth Work closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of business Continuously provide educational material to the client base Resolve any customer related issues in a timely manner Meet and exceed monthly retention and upsell goals on a regular basis Travel up to 25% Minimum Qualification High School Diploma Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 2 or more years of previous outside sales experience or account management Additional Job Standards Ideal candidate should reside in Central, Illinois: Springfield, Champaign, Danville or surrounding areas within assigned territory Proven success managing a book of business Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus Superior customer service skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive market Excellent time management and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel Ability to travel overnight as needed Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
