The GBO Advanced Capabilities COE , Manager forms part of the core execution group of Innovation Incubator to identify, pilot, and scale emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, automation, advanced analytics) that unlock new value for Finance, also serving as the connective tissue between the Finance Leadership Team (Finance LT) and BI&T. This role translates GBO strategic priorities into a clear performance reporting, analytics and capabilities solutions, responsible for end-to-end delivery. The position executes acceleration of digital proficiency and AI utilization across Finance by standing up scalable products, governed processes, and measurable value realization. Key Responsibilities and Major Duties: Innovation Incubator: Be part of Innovation Incubator for GBO, deploying emerging technologies for high-impact use cases, and working with BI&T to convert successful pilots into production capabilities. Run Operations: Part of the team which operates and sustains capabilities post-implementation, including championing continuous improvement. As needed, be part of ecosystem of external partners, including strategy for leveraging company partnerships with hyper-scalers (e.g., AWS) Data & Analytics Value Realization: Execute value frameworks (efficiency, accuracy, cycle-time, decision quality); help instrumenting products for usage/impact analytics; support publishing quarterly value reports. Operating Model & Ways of Working: Be core part of engagement models between GBO , BI&T, and external partners Data, Analytics & AI Adoption: Promote responsible adoption of AI, analytics, and automation solutions across Finance teams through awareness, education, and support Portfolio Tracking & Governance: Maintain visibility of the capability portfolio, including delivery status, risks, dependencies, benefits, and resource utilization Stakeholder Management: Partner with Finance stakeholders, BI&T, and senior leaders to align priorities, coordinate cross-functional delivery, manage dependencies, and drive successful adoption of analytics, automation, and AI capabilities Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA, PhD, or relevant master’s degree preferred. Required Skill Set 5+ years of experience in Finance, Analytics, BI, Digital Transformation, Technology, or related functions Experience delivering analytics, automation, AI, or digital capabilities from concept through implementation and adoption Knowledge of data and analytics platforms, including data warehousing, visualization, automation, and AI/ML-enabled solutions Experience translating business requirements into scalable reporting, analytics, and technology solutions Strong stakeholder management, project execution, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across Finance, BI&T, and business teams while managing multiple initiatives and cross-functional dependencies Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and convey complex insights through clear and compelling narratives Experience measuring and tracking business value, adoption, and operational performance of digital capabilities Working knowledge of SAP, SAP BW/BI, Hyperion, Power BI, and related enterprise reporting and analytics platforms. Understanding data governance, risk management, security, and compliance considerations in analytics and AI solutions.
