Manufacturing Associate II - 6 months Temporary position in Quincy, MA Job Description We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to assist with antibody characterization assays and/or purification workflows within in vivo antibody discovery campaigns and high-throughput antibody production, characterization, and developability projects. This role requires a team-oriented approach, clear and frequent communication, and an ability to function independently. Shifts: 1. Sunday - Thursday, 12pm - 8:30pm 2. Tuesday - Saturday, 12pm - 8:30pm ** Training period requires Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm supervision until independent What You’ll Be Doing Perform ELISA titer test, primary screening, and secondary screening assays for hybridoma workflows Perform Baculovirus Particle ELISA assay Perform NanoDSF assay Perform High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Perform SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis Perform Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR; Carterra platform) assays Prepare buffers for use in ELISA, SPR, Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC), HPLC, etc. Perform aliquoting for protein productions Perform daily cleaning maintenance on laboratory equipment Assist in inventory management for project materials Complete daily assigned tasks to maintain a clean and organized lab environment Complete project documentation in accordance with assays performed Follow all applicable SOPs, protocols, and procedures Cross-functional training into other departments, as appropriate What You’ll Bring to the Team Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field is desirable 1 of 2 Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good computer skills (Excel, Google Drive, etc.) and the ability to quickly learn new software applications Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment About Twist Bioscience Twist Bioscience synthesizes genes from scratch, known as “writing” DNA. The base cash compensation for this Massachusetts-based role is below. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for bonus, equity, and a generous benefits package. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location and may vary from the amount listed above. Compensation may be different in other locations.Massachusetts Pay Range$24—$26 USD
