JOB DESCRIPTION: This is not a traditional hospital-based engineering position. We are seeking a customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support advanced Electrophysiology systems across Italy, Emerging Markets, and the wider EMEA region. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working independently, travelling extensively, and solving technical challenges in customer-facing environments. Your Region Primary focus: Italy & Emerging Markets Additional support across the wider EMEA region as required Flexible workload allocation based on business demand You will be part of a collaborative international service team, supporting customers wherever needed. What You'll Be Doing Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Electrophysiology systems Support hardware, software, IT infrastructure, and network connectivity Perform preventative maintenance and respond to urgent break/fix situations within SLA requirements Manage your territory, travel plans, customer priorities, and service commitments independently Reprioritise workloads based on customer-critical needs Travel extensively (70%+) Collaborate with clinical, commercial, and technical teams across the region What We're Looking For Mindset We are looking for someone who: Remains calm and effective when priorities change Enjoys solving problems in dynamic environments Takes ownership and acts quickly to support customers Is comfortable with frequent travel and short-notice changes Thrives in autonomous, customer-facing roles Can work independently for extended periods Experience & Skills Previous field service, technical support, or customer-facing engineering experience preferred Graduates or early-career engineers with qualifications in Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply Candidates from hospital-based engineering backgrounds should demonstrate a genuine interest in transitioning to a highly mobile field service career Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics, IT, and networking Comfortable working within hospital and clinical environments Languages Italian and English required Additional European languages are advantageous Travel & Location Based in Milan or surrounding area with access to a major airport High-travel role (70%+) Regular travel across Italy, Emerging Markets, and EMEA Short-notice travel should be expected Who This Role Is Perfect For Experienced Field Service Engineers seeking greater international exposure Early-career engineers looking to establish a long-term field service career Technical professionals who enjoy autonomy, travel, and customer interaction Engineers who thrive under pressure and enjoy solving critical customer issues Why Join Us?
