Title: QC Lab Technician (Lilly Contractor - Fixed Term) Patients are at the center of everything we do at Lilly. We are currently hiring a QC Lab Technician This role supports critical work that helps bring medicines and solutions to patients responsibly and efficiently. #WeAreLilly Main Responsibilities: Responsible for receiving, analyzing, verifying and/or approving samples submitted to QCL following established procedures/methods. Responsible for preparing materials and conditioning equipment required for analyses, calculating results, and reporting them in the applicable systems. Participate in validation/transfer processes of analytical methods and instrument qualifications (including protocol preparation, execution, and final report). Ensure compliance with established analysis times and processes to deliver results on time. Support in investigative processes (e.g., generate investigative documents, participate in analytical investigations). Help implement and maintain quality controls in the laboratories. Comply on time with the training assigned to your position (cGMPs, EHS, DI). Participate in the process of training other resources, demonstrate team functioning, process and/or tasks in the area of responsibility. Participate in a team if required by supervision and/or voluntarily collaborate in teams of employees organized to achieve specific objectives. Assist in maintaining inventory of materials in the laboratory. Make appropriate use of materials and laboratory reagents. Keep the laboratory area clean, safe and organize. Report Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) incidents to supervision as they occur. Use and care for personal protective equipment (PPE). Educational requirements: Associate degree (minimum) in science (preferably in Chemistry) Experience requirement: 1 - 2 years of experience in GMP lab environment (preferably) Licenses requirement: No license require. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $12.98 - $29.09 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
