At AGC Biologics in Søborg, this purpose becomes reality every day in our manufacturing facility, where biopharmaceutical production processes are transformed into products for clinical studies and the market. As part of our Downstream Manufacturing team, you will play a hands-on role in the purification of biopharmaceutical proteins. Working in a GMP environment, you will operate purification equipment, execute production processes, and help ensure that every batch is produced and documented according to our quality standards. Where purification expertise meets hands-on manufacturing Downstream manufacturing is where the product is purified and prepared for the next stage of the production process. As a technician, you will be responsible for planning and performing different steps in the protein purification process. Your work will include setting up production equipment such as SUM systems, columns, filters, and Äkta Ready systems. You will execute processes including HETP, chromatography, Nano filtration, and UF/DF filtration, as well as perform swabbing and sampling. Documentation is an important part of the role. You will complete and review MPRs and logbooks and help ensure high quality in the batch documentation in close collaboration with QA and QC. You will also prepare production rooms and systems before and after production and participate in qualification, maintenance, control, and calibration of equipment. Together with the team, you will be responsible for delivering the product to the filling team. A team built around collaboration You will become part of a production area consisting of five production lines producing preclinical, clinical, and commercial products for a wide variety of clients. The team consists of dedicated technicians and academics who work closely together and collaborate with colleagues across functions including QC, QA, and Development. Production can be dynamic and fast paced, and flexibility and teamwork are important parts of keeping the processes running and solving challenges together. What will help you succeed We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on production work and working in a structured GMP environment. You will preferably bring: An education as Process Operator, Process Technologist, or similar More than 2 years of experience from the biopharmaceutical industry and experience working in a cGMP environment is an advantage. Experience with protein purification using chromatography and Äkta Ready or Äkta Process A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn new skills The ability to collaborate and communicate in a constructive manner The ability to speak, read, and understand English As a person, you are positive and flexible and comfortable taking on new assignments and responsibility. You thrive in a dynamic work environment and can handle unpredictability. Working nights in Downstream Manufacturing This position operates on a night shift from 20:00 to 07:00. You should also be prepared to take on overtime during peak production periods.
