Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech The Sr Manager End to End Planning, is responsible for: Leading E2E Planning team to complete E2E planning process (E2E Sense and Respond, E2E Scenario Planning, Supply Chain Optimization, and Synchronize Network) Delivering service/inventory performance across end-to-end global value streams with direct accountability for E2E planning activities and product flows across value streams from suppliers, to manufacturing facilities, through to delivery and/or consumption of product by end customers. Leading and developing E2E planning team. Key Responsibilities: Supply Network Planning Responsible for all SNP Processes, including Net Requirements, Network RCCP & Network MPS, and Distribution Planning Leads planning in generating rough cut capacity plans (RCCP) and a Network MPS. Reviews multi-site constraints to balance E2E Demand and Supply Communicates/hands over Network RCCP/MPS plan to sites within value stream Leads distribution planning, including further distribution between warehouse nodes, and redeployment of inventory to meet customer service goals Supply Chain Optimization Drives a robust process and drumbeat to handle business rules and planning parameters (including safety stocks and inventory targets), transportation lanes, replenishment methods, and process tolerance and triggers to enable an input driven E2E Planning process based on current supply chain capabilities. Delivers on Supply Chain Metrics including $ Inventory holding, DRP Adherence Plan and Schedule Attainment, Back-order and OTIF. Develops a culture of accountability around maintaining these key supply chain inputs (both within planning and with other key functions) that reflect actual performance as it exists in the current state Develops and leads implementation of process optimization (e.g., reduce lead times) to further improve the supply chain Ensure demand and inventory management systems are maintained and continuously reviewed, adjusted and improved. Maintain and develop relationships with all key functions on site to optimize supply chain flow. Supply Chain Synchronization Leads execution of the End to End Sense and Respond process, ensuring deviations/alerts from defined tolerances are actioned and brought up (as needed) as defined by process inputs. Represent Plan within the STEM process. E2E brings the commercial/impact view; responsibility for ‘actions’ depends on individual issue. Leads multi-echelon recovery planning efforts for a value stream Evaluates the multi-echelon impact of supply disruptions and recommends prioritized actions to resolve and balance all relevant trade-offs. Leverages Scenario Planning capabilities as required Periodically evaluates options to optimize the E2E value stream within the current SC infrastructure Drives communication through S&OP/IBP processes to ensure functional alignment on proposed efficient scenario and ensures S&OP/IBP decisions are implemented. Qualifications Education: University bachelor’s degree or equivalent. MBA or equivalent preferred. Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/IBF) desirable. Experience and Skills: Required: 5-10 years related experience Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) is preferred Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities: Ability to develop, mentor and guide a team of planners and team leads in the execution, strategies, and realization of departmental and company goals. Ability to mentor & develop accountable and diverse, individual contributors Ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationships, leading functional/virtual teams where required. Ability to communicate clearly, making the sophisticated clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms. The ability to influence Director & VP Levels within the organization.
