Labcorp is seeking an IT Systems Integration Specialist I to support laboratory operations, laboratory systems, and IT infrastructure for a team in Raritan, NJ. This position works closely with laboratory staff and IT teams to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with system implementations and upgrades. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, basic technical knowledge, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Work Schedule: This is a full time, non-exempt (hourly) position assigned to a Second Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. EST . Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible. Job Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison between laboratory operations and IT teams . Provide onsite support in the Raritan Lab and STAT Labs. Perform setup, configuration, and ongoing support for various laboratory systems. Support projects involving equipment, software, system connectivity, and post–go ‑ live stabilization . Conduct end ‑ to ‑ end system testing, hardware/software validation, and documentation Collaborate with vendors, Corporate IT, IT Security, and lab leadership on installations and integrations. Perform administrative and clerical support activities as needed. Assist with divisional network support (WAN, MDF, IDF infrastructure). Respond to and troubleshoot laboratory hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner. Perform routine preventative maintenance and health checks on laboratory workstations, printers, barcode scanners, and peripheral devices. Monitor laboratory system performance and proactively identify potential issues impacting operations. Coordinate user account provisioning, access requests, and permission reviews in accordance with security and compliance requirements. Support asset inventory management, including tracking laboratory equipment, computers, and software licenses. Escalate complex technical issues to Tier 2 support teams or vendors and track resolution through completion. Assist with backup, recovery, and business continuity activities for laboratory systems. Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. Assist with deployment and validation of new laboratory instruments and associated software platforms. Participate in on-call, after-hours, or weekend support activities as required to support critical laboratory operations. Maintain a safe working environment by following laboratory safety procedures and company guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree 1 or more years' prior experience in both a laboratory environment and IT support/infrastructure 1 or more years' of experience in an IT position Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 3 or more years' experience with LIS or laboratory instrument interface systems. 3 or more years' experience with network configuration, monitoring tools, and asset management systems. IT certifications or technical degrees(A+, Network+, Security+) Current or prior Labcorp experience Additional Job Standards: Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in cross ‑ functional teams Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast ‑ paced environment Flexibility to work overtime or off ‑ hours as needed (e.g., go ‑ lives, outages, critical support) Must comply with HIPAA, security, and confidentiality standards Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements. Ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines, especially during outages or go ‑ lives . Strong customer service mindset, with the ability to work effectively with laboratory leadership and technical teams .
