The Interventional Cardiology Therapies (ICT) Operating Unit is seeking an accomplished, high-impact Quality Core Team Member (QCTM) to lead Quality for the next-generation Renal Denervation (RDN) platform—one of ICT’s highest-priority innovation programs. Positioned at the intersection of strategy, product development, and execution, you will influence critical business and technical decisions, mobilize cross-functional partners, and help bring innovative therapies to patients worldwide. This position is on-site 4 days per week at the Mounds View, MN campus as the Quality lead on a cross-functional new product development team within the Coronary & Renal Denervation (CRDN) operating unit. This role will require less than 10% travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. A Day in the Life A Senior Engineering Program Manager leading the Quality team will: Lead the Quality strategy for a high-priority new product development program, translating PDP milestones into an actionable plan that proactively manages timelines, dependencies, technical risks, and resource needs. Serve as the Quality voice on the Core Team, partnering across Research & Development, Clinical, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Project Management Office, and Operations to shape strategies that advance quality, compliance, patient safety, and customer impact. Drive key Quality-owned technical deliverables that support product development, including Risk Management, Design Verification, and Design Transfer, while ensuring strong alignment across engineering, regulatory, and manufacturing partners. Use program metrics and risk indicators to monitor Quality performance, communicate progress, and drive timely mitigation plans with Quality and program leadership. Influence cross-functional execution by clearly communicating priorities, progress, risks, and key decisions to technical teams, Quality leaders, and senior stakeholders. Key Skills & Experience Product development and program delivery: Demonstrated ability to lead Quality planning and execution within large, complex PDP programs, translating technical milestones into clear priorities, integrated workstreams, risk-based decisions, and measurable outcomes. Capital equipment and systems expertise: Strong understanding of complex system-level product development, including the integration of software, hardware, mechanical design, and clinical or user needs in a regulated medical device environment. Cross-functional leadership: Ability to lead through influence across engineering, quality, regulatory, clinical, manufacturing, and supply chain partners, building alignment and driving decisions in a matrixed, global environment. Qualifications Must Have - Minimum Requirements TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, PLEASE ENSURE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME. Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math and a minimum of 7 years of technical work experience; or an advanced degree in science, technology, engineering, or math with 5 years of technical experience. Nice to Have Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional product development initiatives from strategy through execution, with the ability to drive alignment, manage risks, and deliver measurable outcomes. Experience influencing and collaborating across geographically distributed teams, with the ability to build strong partnerships across functions, sites, and leadership levels. Experience working in highly regulated environments and supporting new product development in alignment with global quality system and regulatory expectations. Proven ability to lead resolution of high-risk Quality issues by bringing together technical experts, assessing patient and business impact, driving disciplined root cause analysis, and executing effective risk-based mitigation plans.
