A Day in the Life The Global Commercial Office (GCO) partners across Commercial, Finance, Sales Operations, and Technology teams to enable scalable business processes, commercial growth, and operational excellence. This portfolio supports customer financial incentive solutions that help drive pricing, contracting, rebate management, and revenue management capabilities across the enterprise. This position is remote within the United States with travel up to 10% to support stakeholder engagement, business planning activities, and team collaboration. The Senior Business Product Owner owns the product vision, strategy, roadmap, backlog priorities, and business outcomes for a portfolio of customer financial incentive solutions. This role ensures product investments align with measurable business value, operational priorities, and long-term transformation objectives. Partnering closely with Commercial Finance, Sales Operations, Information Technology, and external vendors, the Senior Business Product Owner serves as the primary business leader for the product, driving alignment between stakeholder needs, technology capabilities, and enterprise strategy. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong stakeholder influence, product leadership, and the ability to balance current business delivery with future-state modernization. Primary Responsibilities Define and execute product strategy, roadmap priorities, and success measures for rebate management solutions. Partner with Commercial Finance leaders to identify business needs, opportunities, and product investments. Lead cross-functional alignment and prioritization across multiple agile pods, business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to deliver prioritized product outcomes. Own and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing work based on business value, customer needs, regulatory requirements, technical dependencies, and strategic objectives. Translate business objectives into value-based outcomes, prioritized features, and actionable backlog items. Drive decisions and tradeoffs that maximize business value while balancing risks and dependencies. Communicate product direction, roadmap priorities, delivery outcomes, and key risks to leadership. Support rebate system modernization and future-state capability planning across the portfolio. Champion voice-of-customer feedback and stakeholder engagement throughout product delivery. Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impacts across multiple initiatives and operating units. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant experience. Direct experience serving as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Product Owner. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of product strategy development, roadmap planning, and business transformation initiatives. Direct experience supporting rebate management, chargebacks, pricing, revenue management, or commercial finance processes. Exposure to Vistex, rebate management platforms, or commercial revenue management solutions. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Order-to-Cash processes, order entry transactions, or enterprise resource planning systems. Proven leadership of enterprise-scale business and technology initiatives. Ability to prioritize competing business needs, risks, and dependencies. Demonstrated success partnering with senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes. Strong communication skills for presenting recommendations, tradeoffs, and priorities to leadership. Experience supporting contract lifecycle management, sales operations, or financial technology products. Ability to influence decisions across executive, business, and technology stakeholder groups. Knowledge of medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
