The Position Data Advisory & Insights Specialist in Strategy & Governanc e As a Data Advisory & Insights Specialist in Strategy & Governance, you will drive Operational Intelligence across RDT DIA—translating complex portfolio, technical, and operational datasets into actionable executive insights that enable evidence-based decision-making for senior leadership At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The specific office days may vary depending on business needs, such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events. Description of the area: RDT DIA Business Operations is the strategic engine driving frictionless, value-driven execution across RDT Diagnostics. Operating under a "Minimum Viable Governance" mindset, the team manages shared operational capabilities across four key pillars: Strategy & Value Governance: Co-developing functional roadmaps, decision frameworks, and divisional KPI scorecards. Finance & Workforce Mgmt: Driving financial transparency, budget stewardship, and dynamic resource allocation. Operational Intelligence: Delivering automated, platform-native dashboards to enable evidence-based executive decision-making. Transformation & Delivery Excellence: Orchestrating cross-functional programs, service delivery governance, and continuous process improvement. You will serve as the strategic data bridge across R&D, Quality & Regulatory, Global Operations, and Commercial domains, establishing unified performance metrics and scorecards. The opportunity: Scope: Independently designs, establishes, and governs enterprise KPI frameworks, executive scorecards, and data assets across RDT DIA to track strategy execution and portfolio health. Accountability/Problem Solving: Accountable for replacing manual, subjective status tracking with automated, platform-native telemetry - eliminating 'watermelon reporting' and delivering real-time, audit-ready operational visibility. Stakeholder Management: Acts as a trusted data advisor to the RDT DIA Leadership Team (LT) and functional leads, facilitating data-driven reviews, resolving conflicting data narratives, and shaping strategic priorities through clear visualization. Impact/Strategy: Drives strategic initiatives that advance the division's AI and data maturity - integrating conversational analytics, AI knowledge banks, and predictive modeling to shift capacity from manual reporting to proactive decision support. Complexity / (Product Size): Handles more complex datasets and multifaceted analysis tasks. Develops comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards to support business needs. Business / Technical ability: Demonstrates deep understanding of enterprise data architectures (including Snowflake, ServiceNow, and Tableau), applying advanced semantic modeling and data governance standards to ensure data discoverability and reusability. Who you are: 5+ years of Data Advisory, Analytics, or Business Intelligence experience, with proven expertise in translating complex IT portfolio, financial, or operational data into strategic executive recommendations within life sciences or healthcare. Proven track record of translating business challenges into analytical problems and delivering actionable, data-driven recommendations. Experience acting as a key liaison between data teams and business functions, ensuring insights inform strategic and operational decisions. Advanced proficiency in data visualization (Tableau/PowerBI), semantic layer modeling, automated ETL/reporting pipelines, and data governance frameworks (FAIR data principles) Strong expertise in advanced data analysis techniques and handling more complex datasets. Ability to independently validate insights and ensure high data accuracy. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage direct communication with key business stakeholders and present findings to various business units. Strong analytical mindset with a focus on ensuring complex insights are understood by non-technical audiences and leveraged for maximum impact. What you get: Salary range 14,170 - 26,320 PLN gross based on the employment contract. Annual bonus payment based on your performance.
