Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Data Management Associate II to join our team at Yeshwantpur, Bangalore, Karnataka. Work Schedule 2nd Shift - 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM Job Responsibilities Dataset Preparation Trained and completes dataset preparation with limited supervision. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: Obtaining and reviewing study documents (e.g., protocol, report) to gather information to prepare datasets Generating and quality checking (QC) dataset files to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; may include executing manual or programmatic changes to source files Addressing client inquiries on content of study datasets May compile metadata to populate databases supporting nonclinical safety assessment. May participate in software testing and validation activities. Main responsibility is writing and executing test scripts and maintaining documentation in accordance with Systems Life Cycle methodology which complies with General Principles of Software Validation issued by regulatory agencies. Performs other duties as assigned and may include participating in company and/or industry initiatives related to dataset specifications and/or production Provide training and mentoring to new data associate members Participate in additional teams/activities supporting team outside primary tasks of dataset generation Conducts contact with clients. Prepares form letters and communication text. May accompany other senior data management team members or client facing staff (e.g., study director, QA associate) on client visit meetings and/or conference calls. Uses software tools to efficiently and accurately complete job duties. Types of software include word processing, spreadsheet, dataset/table generation, collaboration/sharing, and database applications. Manages a full study workload with complex study designs by adhering to dataset preparation schedules and prioritizing tasks. Adjusts schedules as needed to ensure client deliverables are met. Begins to learn leadership within the data management solutions group on activities such as performing peer reviews, preparing and delivering presentations, participating in staff meetings, participating in process improvement projects, and/or liaising with cross-site staff. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Life Science Preferred Qualifications 2 or more years of experience working with SEND or HCD datasets 2 or more experience with scientific and medical terminology Additional Job Standards Basic Knowledge or experience using programming applications or formulas such as, SAS, R, Python or willingness to learn within one year of employment Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
