This is a field-based role available in all cities within the Northeast. While specific states are listed in the Locations section for reference, please note that they are examples only and do not limit your application. Purpose: The Regional Business Director, Hematology (Northeast), is a field-based leadership position and is accountable for effectively leading and developing a team of District Managers (DMs) and Sales Specialists who have sales responsibilities for the Hematology portfolio, including DARZALEX, TECVAYLI and TALVEY across Johnson & Johnson accounts, while also working with a wide range of cross-disciplinary partners in the Northeast. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, mentor, develop, and retain a high-performance team of District Managers and Sales Specialists with varied strengths who are technically competent and skilled in the Johnson & Johnson oncology business, the healthcare marketplace, and account management. Develop and execute an aligned business plan, customized to meet the needs of Johnson & Johnson business and brand strategies, that delivers compliant product sales growth that will meet or exceed Hematology portfolio objectives while effectively addressing the unique needs and requirements of the customer and the marketplace. Analyze sales and operations data across the Hematology portfolio to monitor performance, identify drivers and barriers, prioritize opportunities, and develop corrective plans that secure and apply resources to improve team results and sales force effectiveness and efficiency. Collaborate extensively at all organizational levels with key internal partners (i.e. Sales Leadership, Key Accounts, Hematology Clinical Educators, Field Reimbursement, Area Business Specialists, Brand, Strategic Customer Group, Commercial Excellence, etc.) as well as external partners to develop optimal access and establish relationships and effective operating networks to facilitate positive business interactions. Coach others to effectively convince internal and external partners to build mutual alignment, embrace difficult positions, and achieve outcomes that are both customer-centric and company responsible. Set overall account goals and objectives, and lead development and provide oversight of account metrics and business performance. Fostering an environment where new ideas, alternative strategies and innovative thinking are valued and explored, while remaining compliant to Company standards. All responsibilities of the Regional Business Director are carried out with strict adherence to the J&J Credo and HCC guidelines. Qualifications Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required Required: A valid driver’s license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of five (5) years of cross-functional experience in key commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics or Business Development) within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry Prior people management experience Proven ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high performing, diverse teams The ability to travel up to 50%, which may include overnight / weekend travel Preferred: Cross functional experience beyond sales and sales learning & development, including in-line marketing and/or strategic marketing. The Region consists of the Northeastern quadrant of the country Healthcare industry or related experience, including pharmaceuticals. Prior experience in sales as either a professional sales representative and/or District Manager. Hematology, Solid Tumor, or Oncology experience is an additional plus Demonstrated commitment to learning and applying emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration and iteration, while building team AI literacy and confidence and reinforcing trusted, responsible use and sound judgment. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $ 162,000 - $279,450. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
