IPT Operations Internship - Carlow

Responsibilities Work within the Production and Maintenance team to support the manufacture of medicines. Support investigations into product complaints, process deviations, equipment failures, and operational issues. Assist with process and equipment improvement projects to enhance operational performance and equipment reliability. Provide frontline troubleshooting support for equipment and process interruptions to minimize manufacturing downtime. Apply Lean and structured problem-solving methodologies, including FMEA, Fishbone Analysis, and 5 Whys, to support continuous improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve equipment effectiveness, reduce operational costs, and optimize manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, monitor, and improve manufacturing and maintenance processes. Support process monitoring activities, trend analysis, and deployment of performance improvement tools on the shopfloor. Assist with the creation, revision, and implementation of procedures, work instructions, and training materials, while completing technical training programmes. Promote a safe, compliant, and quality-focused culture and perform other duties as assigned Train with SMEs and/or conduct training for shopfloor operations or maintenance teams. May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
