About This Role As an IT Lead, you will serve as the trusted technology partner for business stakeholders across the CHAT (Switzerland & Austria) region, helping teams unlock greater efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation through modern digital solutions. This is a highly visible, business-facing role that combines strategic stakeholder management, business analysis, and technology consulting, with a strong emphasis on Generative AI adoption and commercial technology enablement. Guided by the hiring manager's vision, the successful candidate will help shape how AI capabilities are translated into meaningful business outcomes while building strong partnerships across affiliates and global IT teams. Working closely with senior leaders, commercial stakeholders, and international IT colleagues, you will assess emerging business needs, structure demand, identify opportunities to improve processes, and champion technology solutions that create measurable value. Success in this role requires curiosity, learning agility, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies. What You'll Do Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders and operational stakeholders across multiple functions Serve as the primary interface between business teams and IT, ensuring clear communication of priorities, opportunities, and challenges Conduct business analysis for new and emerging technology demand, translating ambiguous requirements into actionable opportunities Identify and champion Generative AI and CRM use cases that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes Advise stakeholders on modern technology capabilities and guide adoption of AI-enabled solutions Partner closely with commercial, medical, and affiliate teams to understand business priorities and recommend technology-driven improvements Facilitate stakeholder discussions, manage expectations, and proactively handle escalations Collaborate with peers across Europe to share best practices and scale successful solutions across affiliates Support demand intake, prioritization, change management activities, and governance processes Work with global IT subject matter experts and external partners to ensure successful delivery of business value Who You Are You are a commercially minded technology professional who enjoys working at the intersection of business and IT. You are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, navigating complex situations, and bringing structure to ambiguous challenges. You combine strong business analysis capabilities with curiosity about emerging technologies, particularly Generative AI, and you are energized by identifying practical opportunities to improve how organizations operate. You thrive in collaborative environments, learn quickly, proactively fill knowledge gaps, and build credibility through partnership, problem-solving, and a focus on delivering business impact. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in IT business partnering, business analysis, technology consulting, or a related role Experience working directly with business stakeholders and senior leaders Strong business analysis and demand management capabilities Understanding of commercial business processes and supporting technologies Working knowledge of CRM platforms and their role in commercial organizations Experience identifying and evaluating opportunities for process improvement and technology adoption Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Experience working across international and cross-functional teams Interest in and familiarity with Generative AI technologies and use case development Preferred Skills Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare industry Exposure to AI-enabled CRM capabilities or digital transformation initiatives Experience supporting affiliate organizations within a regional or global operating model Knowledge of change management and technology adoption practices Job Level: Management Why Biogen?
