Job Description About the role As Product Value Lead, PDT, you will serve as the end-to-end product value leader for the Plasma-Derived Therapies portfolio, shaping product and portfolio decisions to maximize commercial value across the plasma value chain. You will connect Commercial, R&D and Operations to ensure pipeline, launch and lifecycle strategies are commercially attractive, supply-feasible and grounded in the realities of plasma availability, manufacturing capacity and patient needs. You will play a critical role in bringing commercial value thinking into product decisions early, balancing growth opportunities with supply, manufacturing, regulatory and geographic considerations. How you will contribute Own product value strategy across pipeline and inline assets, including positioning, differentiation and pricing logic. Drive product and portfolio decisions that maximize value per liter while balancing plasma availability, yield, manufacturing capacity and demand. Embed commercial and supply considerations early into pipeline and development decision-making. Shape key development choices including evidence requirements, value propositions, launch sequencing, geographic prioritization and route-of-administration trade-offs. Define integrated launch and lifecycle strategies aligned with supply allocation, manufacturing scale-up, regulatory sequencing and evidence generation. Partner with Operations to incorporate plasma forecasts, yield assumptions and capacity constraints into commercial planning and growth scenarios. Establish global product value frameworks and guardrails, partnering with regional and local teams to translate strategy into executable market plans. Lead cross-functional Commercial forums and collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, regions and LOCs to ensure alignment around product and portfolio decisions. Provide forward-looking product value input into long-range portfolio planning, including capacity expansion, innovation, geographic mix and channel optimization. Identify and escalate risks or trade-offs that could impact portfolio value, patient access, supply continuity or launch timing. What you bring to Takeda Extensive senior-level experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial strategy, product leadership, portfolio management or a related discipline. Strong understanding of product value creation across development, launch and lifecycle management. Demonstrated ability to integrate commercial strategy with supply, manufacturing and operational realities. Experience leading complex global products or portfolios and making strategic portfolio prioritization and trade-off decisions. Strong financial and commercial acumen, including pricing, value optimization, demand planning and portfolio economics. Experience working effectively across Commercial, R&D, Operations, Regulatory and regional or country organizations. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions across complex global, cross-functional environments. Strong strategic and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex information into clear business decisions. Proven leadership skills with the ability to create alignment without relying on direct authority. Experience within plasma-derived therapies, biologics or another supply-constrained product environment would be highly valuable.
