Job description
Key Responsibilities Receive, trim, and process tissue samples from study animals. Perform tissue embedding, microtomy (sectioning), and slide preparation. Conduct routine and special staining procedures (e.g., H&E staining). Maintain histology equipment such as tissue processors, microtomes, and staining instruments. Ensure high-quality tissue sections for microscopic evaluation. Archive slides, blocks, and study records according to GLP requirements. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards. Support toxicologic pathologists with slide management and documentation. Required Skills Knowledge of tissue processing and histological techniques. Experience with microtomy, embedding, and staining procedures. Understanding of anatomy, pathology, and toxicology. Familiarity with GLP and regulatory requirements. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to handle laboratory equipment and maintain records. Typical Qualifications B.Sc./M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pathology, or related disciplines. Experience in histopathology, pathology laboratories, or toxicology studies is preferred.
