Job description

Innovation starts from the heart. Edwards Lifesciences is a leading global structural heart innovation company, driven by a passion to improve patient lives. With millions of patients served in over 100 countries, each team makes a meaningful contribution by improving patient outcomes and discovering lasting solutions for unmet patient needs. Our Therapy Development Marketing Manager position is a unique career opportunity to help advance the diagnosis and referral of patients with aortic stenosis across Europe. How you’ll make an impact: Shape and drive the European Therapy Development strategy for referrer engagement, including the ongoing evolution of the CATALYST program and related diagnosis and referral pathway initiatives. Own the CATALYST program strategy and roadmap, ensuring that the program supports earlier, higher-quality referrals through targeted, relevant and repeated engagement with referring healthcare professionals. Partner closely with country marketing and commercial field teams to identify referral barriers, understand local referral ecosystems and translate these insights into actionable engagement strategies. Develop and continuously optimize HCP engagement strategies, supporting interaction models such as educational sessions, referral events, structured field engagement activities, peer-to-peer exchanges and digital programs. Lead the development of account activation approaches, enabling local teams to identify priority stakeholders, referral bottlenecks and opportunities for sustainable pathway improvement. Partner with Medical Affairs and Professional Education to develop HCP education programs and engage appropriate faculty supporting referral excellence, scientific exchange and best-practice sharing. Act as a central coordination point across a highly matrixed European organization, ensuring cross-functional alignment. Serve as a key point of contact for assigned European markets, supporting local teams with the planning and execution of CATALYST and referrer engagement initiatives while encouraging consistency and adaptation to local needs. Define and monitor program success measures with the associate marketing manager. Consolidate learnings and best practices across markets, sharing insights and recommending improvements to strengthen the effectiveness and scalability of Therapy Development programs. Manage cross-functional projects, external agencies and program budgets, ensuring high-quality delivery, appropriate governance and alignment with annual strategic priorities. Act as a strategic partner to the Therapy Development leadership team, helping connect priorities across CATALYST, referrer engagement, education, field enablement and market activation to ensure activities are cohesive, mutually reinforcing and aligned with long-term program evolution. What you’ll need (Required): University degree in Life Sciences, Medicine or a related field, with significant experience in Therapy Development, HCP engagement, strategic marketing, commercial excellence or a comparable healthcare/life sciences role. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional European languages (e.g., French, German, or Italian) are considered an advantage. What else we look for (Preferred): Ability to define strategy, lead referrer HCP engagement programs, and move complex initiatives from insight to execution across European markets. Strong understanding of patient pathways, referral behaviors and healthcare ecosystem dynamics, ideally in cardiovascular disease, aortic stenosis, TAVI or structural heart disease. Experience developing HCP engagement strategies, educational programs, marketing campaigns or field enablement tools in partnership with commercial field teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical, scientific and business information into clear recommendations for senior audiences. Proven ability to influence without authority, align cross-functional stakeholders, and work effectively in a matrixed, international environment. Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement. Familiarity with digital engagement tools, CRM-based campaigns, dashboards or program performance reporting.
