A Day in the Life At Medtronic, you’ll support life-saving surgical technologies by ensuring the right parts are available, tracked, and delivered through the service process. As a Shipping / Receiving / Stores Clerk in our Rice Creek Service Center you’ll play a critical role in inventory accuracy and product flow—helping keep repairs moving and equipment back in the field. You’ll take ownership of inventory and materials supporting the service and repair of medical devices. You’ll work closely with technicians, supervisors, and engineering to ensure parts and systems are aligned to keep operations running efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working across teams in a fast-paced technical environment. Work Environment & Schedule Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Hands-on, active role (standing, walking, lifting, packaging, moving between stations) Compensation: starts at $23 hourly + 5% annual bonus target 4 weeks paid time off per year 10 paid holidays per year 401(k) with up to 6% match Comprehensive benefits plan, including medical, dental, vision, and more Fully subsidized Bachelors degree programs paid up front, and many other paid training opportunities! Primary responsibilities: Support in-house servicing and repair of medical devices Manage inventory processes including cycle counting, parts tracking, and reconciliation Utilize ERP (SAP) and quality systems (QMS) for accurate documentation and transactions Operate pallet jacks to move inventory Support packaging and product flow from intake through shipment Identify discrepancies and implement countermeasures to resolve technical or material issues Assess inventory needs and help prioritize daily workflow Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve processes Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse. Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inventory management (cycle counting, parts control) Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) Experience documenting work in quality or regulated systems Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently Experience in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO 13485) Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing processes Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
