Job Description Agilent Technologies packaging team is looking for a motivated individual to assist with day to day operations. Our site is located in Cedar Creek TX. A strong manufacturing background with knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement are helpful. Job duties will consist of helping with general organization and housekeeping, verification of label accuracy, verification of liquid accuracy, manually packing components into final kits, aiding in the operation of various filling machines, use of pipetting tools and manual liquid handling techniques, and other duties as required. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices are ideal. This team member will assist the packaging and filling team with all operations throughout the department. Responsible for performing a variety of support duties within the manufacturing environment. Work activities are focused on one or more areas of manufacturing operations support: Materials handling, involving physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies and equipment; Production, including assembling, filling, measuring, mixing, testing and verifying performance in the manufacture of Agilent products; Test and repair, involving routine testing of assemblies and finished products, including interpretation of results and routine repairs; and Quality, involving inspections of raw materials and in-process and/or finished products to ensure compliance with Agilent’s quality and reliability standards. Prepares and maintains applicable records and documentation. May enter data into or access information in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Qualifications Duties/Requirements: Basic Math Skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Ability to stand/bend up to 8hrs daily Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to wear required PPE Receives and processes jobs from the warehouse. Manually assembles products. Wears proper safety equipment. Seals containers and prepares and affixes product identification labels to containers. Properly packs all jobs assigned to P&F. Works with different temperature requirements. Room temperature -20 degrees -80 degrees Dry ice Maintains production records. Monitors product for proper temperature. General housekeeping. Operates semiautomated labeling machines. Assembles kit boxes. Aids in liquid handling procedures. Maintains stock inventories. Able to fulfill our bulk filling needs. Other duties as needed. May require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically 1-3 years of relevant experience for entry to this level. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $22.42 - $35.04/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
