The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a hands-on enterprise application owner and administrator, responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple SaaS systems, including configuration, optimization, support, and continuous improvement. This role operates in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining clear communication, providing timely updates, and effectively prioritizing workload. To be successful in this role, you should be a self-starter with an aptitude for learning new systems, building domain expertise, and driving governance and best practices across your application portfolio.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions Own and administer key enterprise applications, with primary responsibility for NetSuite ERP, and operational ownership of the ServiceNow platform, including governance, demand management, reporting, and ongoing platform management
Engage stakeholders and SMEs to understand business needs and translate them into system configurations, enhancements, and scalable solutions
Identify opportunities to improve processes and system capabilities, and implement or drive enhancements
Maintain accountability for system performance, data integrity, and user experience, ensuring applications are reliable and well governed
Identify, assess, and communicate risks related to system changes, implementations, and upgrades, and proactively drive mitigation strategies
Own and execute solution testing, validation, and release readiness for system changes and enhancements, ensuring adherence to established change management processes
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures
Create and deliver user training and enablement materials to support adoption and effective system usage
Support audit and compliance activities, including data collection, documentation, and control validation
Manage vendor relationships to support issue resolution, platform enhancements, and ongoing system improvements
Champion continuous improvement, governance, and best practices across the application portfolio using established methodologies (ITIL, Agile, Lean, etc)
Manage and prioritize work across multiple systems and concurrent initiatives, balancing operational support with project delivery
Implement and configure new enterprise applications and system capabilities
All other duties as assigned Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Other) Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years, or Masters degree and 5+ years of progressive Business Systems Analysis, Enterprise Information Systems Management, or equivalent Technical Abilities required: Strong experience administering Oracle NetSuite ERP, including financial modules, reporting, workflows, bundles/customizations, and role-based access controls
Working knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and ITSM processes, including Incident, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, Change, and Asset Management
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple systems, projects, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven business process analysis and modeling skills with the ability to translate process requirements into system configurations and scalable solutions
Working knowledge of project delivery and IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, Agile, Lean, etc) and their practical application
Hands-on experience implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise SaaS applications including configuration, enhancement, and ongoing lifecycle management
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of the organization
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and assume ownership with minimal direction Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience administering or supporting enterprise applications such as Concur, Equity Edge, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
Experience working across integrated SaaS ecosystems, particularly across financial, expense, equity, and work management platforms
Solid understanding of general IT infrastructure platforms and technologies, including Microsoft business technology stack
Experience in the Biotech, Life Sciences, or medical industry is preferred Working Conditions Primarily sedentary work in an office environment. Regular weekday work hours, with occasional weekend/after-hours planned or unplanned work as needed. Physical Requirements
Occasional need to lift/move/install computer systems and other equipment. Occasional work in datacenter environments. Occasional work in laboratory environments requiring the use of protective equipment and clothing. #LI-Remote Compensation
Salary Range: $128,700 - $193,100
Possible “other compensation” elements to include: equity grant

Adaptive’s posted compensation information includes a base salary (or hourly rate) range and summary of other available total compensation. The base salary range represents a minimum-to-maximum salary (or hourly rate) available to candidates upon extension of offer. Base salary is thoughtfully considered upon offer and is determined through multiple evaluation checks throughout the interview process, including: a candidate’s ability to meet minimum qualifications (skills/experience/education), a candidate’s ability to thoughtfully address preferred qualifications, current market conditions, and internal pay equity.
