This is a field-based role available in all cities within the West region. While specific states are listed in the Locations section for reference, please note that they are examples only and do not limit your application. Purpose: The Regional Business Director is a field-based leadership position accountable for effectively leading and developing a team of District Managers (DMs) and Sales Specialists across the West Region. This leader will have geographic responsibility for the RYBREVANT franchise across both Lung and Head & Neck cancers, providing integrated regional leadership while ensuring the dedicated disease-state focus, expertise, and execution required in each business. The role works closely with a broad range of cross-functional partners to translate franchise and brand strategies into strong regional execution. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, mentor, develop, and retain a team of District Managers and Sales Specialists with varied strengths who are technically competent and skilled in the Johnson & Johnson oncology business, the healthcare marketplace, and account management. Prioritize opportunities while helping the team improve results by securing and applying resources. Develop and execute an aligned West Region business plan that supports the RYBREVANT franchise across Lung and Head & Neck cancers, delivers compliant product sales growth and volume objectives, and addresses the distinct customer, market, access, and operational needs of each disease area. Collaborate extensively at all organizational levels with key internal partners (i.e. Sales Leadership, Brand, Strategic Customer Group, Pricing Strategy, Commercial Excellence, etc.) as well as external partners to develop optimal access and establish relationships and effective operating networks to facilitate positive business interactions. Coach leaders and teams to build alignment across internal and external stakeholders, navigate competing priorities, and deliver customer-centric, company-responsible outcomes across the Lung and Head & Neck businesses. Set overall account goals and objectives, and lead development and provide oversight of account metrics and business performance. Qualifications Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required Required: A valid driver’s license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of five (5) years of cross-functional experience in key commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics or Business Development) within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry Prior people management experience Proven ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high performing, diverse teams The ability to travel up to 50%, which may include overnight / weekend travel Preferred: Cross functional experience beyond sales and sales learning & development, including in-line marketing and/or strategic marketing. Candidates should reside within the West Region or be willing to relocate. The region covers much of the western United States, including California, Arizona, Colorado, and Washington/Seattle, as well as the broader Pacific Northwest and other assigned western geographies. Healthcare industry or related experience, including pharmaceuticals. Prior experience in sales as either a professional sales representative and/or District Manager. Oncology/Solid Tumor experience; Lung cancer and/or Head & Neck cancer experience is strongly preferred. Experience leading across multiple tumor types or a franchise/portfolio model is an added advantage. Demonstrated commitment to learning and applying emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration and iteration, while building team AI literacy and confidence and reinforcing trusted, responsible use and sound judgment. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $162,000 - $279,450 The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
