Job description

Business Introduction GSK remains committed to achieving bold commercial ambitions for the future. By 2031, we aim to deliver £40 billion in annual sales, leveraging our existing strong performance momentum to significantly increase our positive impact on the health of billions of patients globally. Our Ahead Together strategy is centred on early intervention to prevent and alter the course of disease, thereby protecting people and supporting healthcare systems. Our diverse portfolio consists of vaccines, specialty medicines, and general medicines. Through continuous innovation and a dedicated focus on scientific and technical excellence, we strive to develop and launch new, groundbreaking treatments that address critical health challenges. Position Summary The Senior AI Product Manager – Government Pricing & Compliance is the product owner and hands-on AI builder behind the technology for GSK's US government price calculations, filings including restatements and audit trail. You will work with Government Pricing, Market Access, and Compliance teams to understand how calculations, filings, contract/trade operations, chargeback and rebate payments, disputes, and restatements get done today, and decide where AI and agentic technology can make the biggest difference in accuracy, system optimization, cycle time, and compliance risk. You then own delivery end to end: discovery, build, evaluation, production deployment, and ongoing performance management. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and regulated pricing operations. You will make your own feasibility and build-vs-buy calls, define what "good" looks like for non-deterministic AI systems in a SOX-controlled environment, and move solutions from proof of concept into governed, monitored production use with human review where it matters. Success is measured by adopted capabilities and quantified impact on filing accuracy, exception volumes, cycle time, dispute outcomes, and audit readiness. Key Responsibilities AI product roadmap: Own the end-to-end AI product roadmap for government pricing and compliance, prioritizing capabilities that improve filing accuracy, reduce compliance risk, and automate manual workflows, and define and monitor KPIs for filing accuracy, exception volumes, cycle time, and compliance SLA performance. Technology stack and integrations: Define and own the government pricing technology strategy, roadmap, SLAs, and integrations across ERP, contract management, chargeback, and rebate platforms. Partner with revenue cycle technology teams to enable seamless data exchange and knowledge sharing. AI governance: Establish governance for regulated AI use cases, including model validation and documentation, explainability of AI-generated outputs, human-in-the-loop review and approval gates, and bias and drift monitoring, aligned with GSK responsible-AI policy, so outputs are defensible to auditors and regulators. Data governance: Own governance of government pricing inputs, including class of trade and customer eligibility classification, product and pricing master data, transactional data lineage, and documented calculation assumptions, since filing accuracy depends on upstream data integrity. Regulatory change: Assess the technology impact of regulatory change under MDRP (AMP and Best Price), Medicare ASP, 340B, VA/FSS, including TRICARE, and state reporting with Government Pricing, Market Access, and Compliance, and translate it into product requirements and roadmap priorities. Submissions, restatements, and true-ups: Ensure technology supports on-time, accurate submissions with full audit trails and handles restatements reliably, including retroactive AMP and Best Price recalculations, prior-period adjustment tracking, downstream rebate, 340B refunds, and TRICARE impacts, and defensible version history of every stated/restated submission. Audit readiness: Maintain audit readiness of government pricing technology controls, including SOX alignment, documented change control and testing evidence, segregation of duties and access reviews, regular risk reviews with Legal, Compliance and Internal Audit, and support for government inquiries, audit requests, and price dispute resolution. Change management: Drive adoption by training Government Pricing, Finance, and Compliance users on AI-enabled workflows, maintaining process and control documentation, and capturing feedback to inform Why You? Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or Finance, and 8+ years of combined product management and technical experience, including experience delivering AI/ML solutions using agentic frameworks, LLMs, or automated compliance workflows. Experience with US government pricing and rebate programs, including MDRP (AMP, Best Price, and unit rebate amount calculations), Medicare ASP, 340B, and VA/FSS (including Non-FAMP and Federal Ceiling Prices), and with SOX financial controls, internal audit processes, and audit-readiness standards for pricing systems. Experience with enterprise government pricing or revenue management platforms (e.g., Model N or equivalent) and their integration with ERP, contract management, and chargeback or rebate systems. Experience writing product specifications, prototyping AI workflows, and analyzing large transactional sales and pricing datasets using SQL and Python, including applying data quality, lineage, and master data governance practices. Experience with agile delivery and stakeholder management, including backlog ownership, user story and acceptance criteria definition, release planning with engineering and data teams, and translating regulatory and finance requirements into specifications for senior Finance, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus Experience deploying agentic AI frameworks or LLM-powered tools in a regulatory, compliance, or financial reporting context, including AI or model risk governance: model validation, explainability, and human-in-the-loop control design. Prior forward deployment, AI implementation, or technical product experience at a pharma, biopharma, or enterprise AI company, including implementing or validating systems in a SOX or GP-controlled environment. Work arrangement This role is hybrid and based in the United States. You will be on-site part of the week and work remotely the remainder.
