Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Alconbury, near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday – 37.5hrs Job Responsibilities: Providing supervisory and operational support necessary for the preparation and conduct of studies carried out within Genetic Toxicology Direct responsibility for all staff working in the operational/support group/section assigned to. Training and support of team members to achieve work deadlines and personal development goals Accountability for overall accuracy, soundness, quality, timeliness and completeness of all work performed in the area of responsibility Responsibility for scheduling; allocating resources within the operational/support group/section; overall responsibility for training and supervision of all operational/scientific/support staff Responsibility for study data, raw data integrity, and may include equipment metrology and functionality (where applicable) Minimum Qualification s: Degree in Biomedical Science, Pharmacology, Chemistry or Biology Additional Job Standards: Supervisory experience within a laboratory, preferably working to regulatory standards such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) Experience of staff management including development and training Aseptic techniques and cell culture experience desirable Excellent organisational and time management skills paired with attention to detail Due to the remote location of this site, there are no public transport links available We are looking for a Supervisor at Labcorp where you will be responsible for a team of technicians undertaking specific tasks in support of Genetic Toxicology studies along with carrying out technician duties.
