Summary: The Director, SYFOVRE Market Access Strategy will lead the U.S. market access strategy for SYFOVRE, with responsibility for optimizing pricing, contracting, and payer/reimbursement marketing in the evolving retina marketplace. Reporting to the Head of Access Strategy for Retina and Nephrology/Hematology, this role will manage a team focused on payer and reimbursement marketing strategy and tactics, pricing and contracting initiatives, and support for payer, strategic accounts, and reimbursement field teams. As the senior market access lead for SYFOVRE, you will be ultimately accountable to the BNA Leadership Team for integrated access strategy and performance. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and partner across MA&R, Medical, Finance, Trade & Distribution, and the SYFOVRE franchise to anticipate market changes, address access barriers, and ensure access strategy is integrated with brand objectives. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead the integrated U.S. market access strategy for SYFOVRE and serve as the single point of accountability to the BNA Leadership Team for access performance, risks, and required actions. Lead pricing and contracting strategies that balance patient access, provider economics, competitive positioning, and sustainable net revenue. Lead payer and reimbursement marketing and optimize the buy-and-bill experience across coverage, coding, payment, acquisition economics, and operational barriers. Monitor evolving retina market dynamics, including competitive products, biosimilars, payer utilization management, provider economics, ASP trends, reimbursement, and policy changes; translate insights into brand strategy and long-range planning. Partner with Medical to identify evidence gaps and strengthen the SYFOVRE value proposition with payers and providers. Partner with Payer Accounts, Field Reimbursement, Strategic Accounts, Trade & Distribution, and other cross-functional teams to execute customer strategies and ensure effective pull-through of access priorities. Serve as a key member of the Retina and Nephrology/Hematology Access Strategy Leadership Team, ensuring market access considerations inform strategic and investment decisions. Provide leadership and strategic direction across functions, driving alignment and accountability for critical SYFOVRE access priorities. Who You Are You are a strategic, commercially minded market access leader who can translate complex payer, reimbursement, provider, and competitive dynamics into clear business strategies. You anticipate market change, build alignment across functions and levels, and mobilize teams to deliver business results in a buy-and-bill specialty market. Required Skills Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MPH, or other advanced degree preferred. 12+ years of U.S. market access, payer marketing, reimbursement, pricing and contracting, or related pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience. Demonstrated experience developing and executing market access strategies for specialty or physician-administered products. Deep understanding of buy-and-bill reimbursement, including Medicare Part B, commercial payer dynamics, ASP-based reimbursement, provider economics, coding/payment, and site of care. Experience in payer/provider marketing, pricing and contracting, and translating access dynamics into actionable customer strategies. Ability to assess competitive market dynamics and develop strategies to protect or expand access. Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, analyze business issues, and influence senior stakeholders. Preferred Skills Experience in ophthalmology, retina, or another physician-administered specialty market, including Medicare Part B and ASP-based reimbursement. Experience with retina practices, GPOs, health systems, specialty distributors, or other stakeholders in the buy-and-bill ecosystem. Experience managing access for an established brand in a market facing biosimilar, generic, or other significant price-based competition.
