A Day in the Life As a Senior Enterprise Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Windows desktop applications that support medical technologies. This role partners with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle to deliver scalable, maintainable, and compliant software solutions that meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements. Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain Windows desktop applications with hardware integration capabilities. Participate in software architecture, technical design discussions, and code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, define technical solutions, and support product development initiatives. Develop and execute software testing and debugging activities to identify, analyze, and resolve defects. Create and maintain technical documentation to support regulatory compliance, product development, and business requirements. Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, including planning, design, development, verification, release, deployment, and post-release support. Apply Agile development methodologies and software engineering best practices to deliver high-quality solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, software quality, and development efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 8 to 12 years of software development experience, including Windows desktop application development. 6+ years of experience designing and developing Windows desktop applications using C#, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and related Windows technologies. Experience developing graphical user interface (GUI) applications and integrating software with hardware devices. Experience with object-oriented design principles, software architecture patterns, and application design patterns. Experience working within Agile software development environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the medical device industry or another regulated industry subject to quality and regulatory requirements. Experience with networking and communication protocols used in distributed software systems. Knowledge of software security practices, risk analysis, and secure software development methodologies. Experience supporting products through the complete software development lifecycle. Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
