General Description: The Associate Director, Web Technologies Lead is responsible for the ownership, performance, and evolution of BeOne’s enterprise web technology ecosystem, with primary accountability for the organization’s global CMS platform (WordPress on Kinsta). This role ensures that web platforms are stable, secure, scalable, and optimized to support Commercial, Medical, and Corporate digital experiences across all markets. Operating at the intersection of platform engineering, digital experience delivery, and business enablement, this role combines hands-on technical expertise with platform ownership to manage CMS configuration, troubleshoot issues, and establish scalable operating models and standard processes. The Associate Director ensures that web platforms are fit for purpose, aligned to enterprise architecture and compliance requirements, and capable of supporting increasing demands for speed, flexibility, and global consistency. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for managing the organization’s implementation, development, and production partner, ensuring high-quality delivery, performance, and adherence to defined standards and SLAs. The Associate Director translates business and digital strategy requirements into technical solutions, working closely with Digital Strategy & Enablement, Enterprise Content Systems, Data & Analytics, and other GCMT teams to enable seamless execution of web initiatives. A key focus of this role is driving technical excellence and operational maturity across web platforms, including governance, release management, integrations, and performance optimization, while continuously evaluating emerging technologies and capabilities to enhance scalability, user experience, and innovation across BeOne’s global web properties. Essential Functions of the Job: Enterprise Web Platform Ownership Serve as the enterprise platform owner for BeOne’s global web technology ecosystem, with primary accountability for the CMS, hosting environment, and web platform operations. Own the technical roadmap for enterprise web platforms, ensuring alignment with global business priorities, digital strategy, compliance requirements, and scalability needs. Ensure the CMS platform supports a global portfolio of Commercial, Medical, Corporate, and other enterprise web properties. Monitor platform performance, stability, security, and scalability to ensure reliable delivery of digital experiences across markets. Partner with internal technology teams and external platform partners to plan enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and future-state web capabilities. CMS Management and Technical Operations Manage the enterprise CMS environment, including WordPress configuration, site structure, templates, plugins, user access, publishing workflows, and technical standards. Oversee the managed hosting environment and ensure appropriate processes are in place for uptime, performance, backups, environment management, and deployment readiness. Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting for CMS, hosting, site performance, configuration, publishing, and content management issues. Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for CMS administration, site updates, releases, issue resolution, and escalation management. Ensure platform configurations support efficient content management, localization, site maintenance, and global reuse across web properties. Web Development, Release, and Production Management Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of web development, production updates, enhancements, migrations, and new site launches. Define and manage release management processes, including intake, prioritization, testing, approvals, deployment, and post-launch validation. Ensure technical requirements are documented clearly and translated into actionable implementation details for development and production partners. Support structured QA, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and readiness checks prior to launch or deployment. Maintain visibility into development backlogs, timelines, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across active web initiatives. Business Requirements and Technical Solutioning Partner with Commercial, Medical, Corporate, Digital Strategy & Enablement, and other stakeholder teams to understand web needs and business objectives. Translate business, content, and digital experience requirements into technical specifications, platform capabilities, and implementation plans. Advise stakeholders on CMS functionality, web platform capabilities, technical feasibility, dependencies, and recommended solutions. Support technical project management for web initiatives, including requirements gathering, scope definition, timeline coordination, risk identification, and delivery tracking. Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, globally consistent, and aligned to enterprise web standards. Web Governance, Standards, and Operating Model Establish and maintain governance standards, operating procedures, and best practices for enterprise web platform management. Define processes for website intake, technical review, prioritization, environment management, production releases, and ongoing site maintenance. Ensure web properties follow approved enterprise standards for CMS usage, hosting, accessibility, privacy, security, analytics, SEO, and content management. Partner with internal teams to clarify roles and responsibilities across website ownership, content ownership, technical support, approvals, and production execution. Define and scale a standardized, templated web delivery model, enabling modular site development, reusable components, and consistent implementation across global web properties. Maintain documentation, process guides, technical standards, and enablement materials to support consistent web operations globally. Security, Compliance, Accessibility, and Risk Management Ensure web platforms and related processes support enterprise security, privacy, accessibility, and compliance requirements. Partner with Information Security, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and technology teams to assess and address web-related risks. Support implementation of security standards, consent management, cookie compliance, accessibility requirements, and approved third-party technologies. Monitor technical risks related to plugins, integrations, platform changes, vulnerabilities, environment configuration, and production releases. Ensure web operating procedures support appropriate documentation, approvals, validation, and audit readiness in a regulated environment. Integrations, Analytics, and Web Technology Enablement Support integration of web platforms with analytics, tagging, consent management, marketing technologies, CRM, search, and other digital ecosystem tools. Partner with Data & Analytics, Digital Strategy & Enablement, and tagging/taxonomy teams to ensure web properties support measurement, reporting, and optimization needs. Ensure web implementations support appropriate tracking, data capture, content findability, SEO, and performance measurement requirements
