Global Security Program Manager

Site security business partner for major tier one facilities, offices, and laboratories. This role is responsible for implementing strategy, ensuring the use of effective tactics to assess and mitigate risk, driving situational and threat awareness, and continuously improving the level of security through documented processes, SOPs, and best practices. This role requires problem solving and analysis skills. Serve as the Program Manager for all Global Security programs and systems including but not limited to travel security, duty of care, event security, and controlled access, intelligence, guard service and supply chain security. The incumbent will maintain communication and coordinate contracts with outside vendors and lead governance within Enterprise Security. This role will build and maintain organizational readiness through management of the tech roadmap, risk register, and annual reporting. Strategy and Tactics Owns local site security operations activities related to the protection of individuals, assets, and property. Must always ensure high quality, effective, uninterrupted security coverage at predetermined levels. Ensures security related activities are executed in accordance with budgetary and strategic plans. Develops, implements, and manages site-level security processes, practices, and policies; establishes and implements calibrated standards and controls Serves as the local manager for security related crises and incidents Implements state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques to safeguard personnel and assets, including intellectual property and trade secrets Determines site operational expenses and manages forecasts Situational Awareness Develops and delivers appropriate threat and awareness training Administers and delivers trainings necessary for compliance to security requirements Briefs site leadership teams and management on status of security issues Vulnerability and Threat Assessments Supports local and regional global security assessment plans Organizes, conducts, and delivers written security assessment presentations and reports Emergency management and crisis response Manages response to issues involving troubling persons and situations, security-related crises or incidents and associated legal matters as needed Writes, reviews and/or submits formal security-related documentation such as incident reports, summaries, program proposals/recommendations, and other formal written communications Continuous Improvement · Compiles annual site risk assessment · Creates detailed recommended courses of action to improve security levels · Implements approved courses of action Investigations · Collaborates on internal investigations; conducts interviews as needed · Develop working relationships with law enforcement and other regulatory agencies · As needed, conducts investigations into security related breaches and incidents Global Programs Management · Maintains organizational readiness through management of global security programs and processes (e.g. annual reporting, risk register, technology roadmap, etc.) · Collaborate with Global Security leadership on governance cadences, submission and aggregation of reports · Contributes to the overall global common operating picture by maintaining a running estimate of the status of all global programs Develops and maintains solid cross-functional working relationships with appropriate stakeholders. Must be on call 24/7 to discuss and/or respond to anomalies, events, or emergencies. Acts with integrity and exercises sound independent judgment in the course of carrying out overall responsibilities and other activities as assigned Education Degree in Homeland Security, Security Management, Intelligence and Policy Analysis or other closely related fields or local equivalent required Experience 7 to 10 years of full-time experience leading and executing high-level security responsibilities A minimum of 5+ years leading teams or direct people management Demonstrated knowledge of security operations management and best practices Demonstrated ability to understand and apply risk and security concepts Working knowledge of regulatory environments, compliance programs, analytics, intelligence and preventative security measures Competencies Strong sense of urgency, self-awareness, and adaptability Not afraid to share bad news and highlight challenges Ability to lead multiple sites and cross-functional areas for the Enterprise Develops and implements operating plans and strategies that have short-to-mid-term impact on business results (1-3 years) Solves complex and undefined problems, requiring extensive investigation and analysis to improve processes/systems for area of responsibility Influences others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership Thinks beyond and incorporates external factors into business strategy Builds bridges and empowers One-CSL teams Unleashes outcomes and creates an environment of decision making and calculated risk taking Ignites agility and creates a nimble environment Inspires the future and drives the strategy throughout the organization Cultivates talent and takes proactive steps to secure future talent About CSL Behring CSL Behring is a global biotherapeutics leader driven by our promise to save lives.
