Responsible for operation and management of all departmental functions for research performed at the Consumer Opinion Center in Richmond, Virginia. Ensure compliance, quality, and client satisfaction. Provide Celerion oversight to all panel activity associated with the Consumer Opinion Center. This person will need to have the flexibility to work Monday-Friday between 8:00am-9:30pm. Staff Management: Responsible for execution of departmental objectives and adherence to company policies and procedures Ensure that all Market Research staff are properly trained to support all studies at the Consumer Opinion Center Responsible for weekly scheduling of Consumer Research Coordinators to support research Hire, train, write performance reviews and discipline associates as necessary Address client complaints, staff complaints and study participant complaints through resolution according to policies and procedures Research Operations: Maintain clean and orderly research areas within the Consumer Opinion Center Ability to build/manipulate ballots within the sensory evaluation software Able to work with form creation software to create surveys and research documentation Assess and take action as special situations occur in study conduct Monitor assigned research rooms to ensure activities are in compliance with research protocol Reporting: Compile and report metrics to Site Director, including but not limited to: Census Reports Panel Attendance Reports Ensure compliance and quality Respond to Quality Assurance audits in a timely matter Knowledge / Skills / Education / Licenses: Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Research Two years of progressive consumer research experience preferred Proven organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work without close supervision Ability to work hours required for study conduct Experience in conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research preferred Working Conditions / Equipment / Safety: Ability to work flexible schedule Ability to work in required work environment, including but not limited to exposure to second hand smoke from combustible cigarettes and vapors from electronic cigarettes Will work in a general office environment with the use of computer, printer, telephone, copier, fax, and calculator. According to the Code of Virginia 18.2-371.2B, employees must be 21 years of age to work around tobacco products.
