Business Development (Title based on experience), Organoid Solutions (North America & Europe)& CDO hybrid role Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development candidate to lead commercial growth of our organoid service portfolio across North America and Europe. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving sales from prospecting through contract execution. The successful candidate will work closely with our scientific and technical experts and Market intelligence based in South Korea to deliver customized solutions to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, and research organizations in the area of Organoid development and use. As part of our broader Contract Development Organization (CDO) commercial team, the individual will also support the promotion of biologics development and related service offerings where appropriate. This is a fully remote position requiring approximately 40% travel for customer visits, scientific conferences, industry events, and business development activities. East Coast based preferred but open to candidate living in other locations. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for organoid services throughout North America and Europe. Identify, qualify, and manage new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, academic, and research institutions. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, conference participation, and market intelligence. Lead the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and opportunity qualification through proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers, scientists, procurement teams, and executive stakeholders. Leverage existing relationships to further build Organoid engagement across Large, Medium and small pharma companies building up our previously established services Samsung provides. Accurately forecast sales activities and revenue through CRM management and regular reporting. Technical & Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with scientific and technical teams in South Korea to develop customer-specific solutions and proposals. Coordinate technical discussions, project scoping, proposal reviews, and customer presentations. Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for customers throughout the sales process. Ensure seamless communication between customers and internal stakeholders to support successful project execution and customer satisfaction. Market Development Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities within organoid, cell-based assay, drug discovery, translational research, and precision medicine sectors. Gather and communicate customer feedback to support service development and commercial strategy. Represent the company at major industry conferences, trade shows, scientific meetings, and networking events. Support of Biologics Service Offerings As a member of the CDO commercial team, identify and facilitate opportunities for biologics development and related contract research or development services. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to introduce and position biologics capabilities with existing and prospective customers. Promote integrated solutions that leverage both organoid and biologics service offerings. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline. 2- 5 years of business development, technical sales, or account management experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, CDMO, or life sciences industry. Demonstrated success in developing and closing complex scientific or technical sales opportunities. Strong understanding of drug discovery, preclinical research, cell biology, organoid technologies, or related life science research applications. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with international teams. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40% of the time throughout North America and Europe. Willingness to adjust hours accordingly based on both client and internal needs surrounding a global company and position. Preferred Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a life science field. Experience selling organoid-based solutions, primary cell models, translational research services, CRO services, or related technologies. Existing network of contacts within pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Experience working with global teams and international customers. Familiarity with biologics development, cell and gene therapy, antibody development, or related contract development services.
