A Day in the Life The Cardiac Ablation Solutions business develops technologies used in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, supporting electrophysiology (EP) teams with mapping, ablation, and procedural workflow solutions. This role is focused on the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System and supports the expansion of the platform across Bulgaria through clinical partnership, education, and technical expertise. The position is based in Bulgaria and requires regular onsite presence in electrophysiology laboratories throughout the assigned territory. Frequent travel within Bulgaria is required to support procedures, customer training, and new site activations. As an Affera™ Product Specialist, you will partner with physicians, electrophysiology laboratory teams, and internal stakeholders to support the adoption and clinical utilisation of the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System. The role combines clinical procedure support, technical expertise, customer education, and territory development activities to drive successful implementation and long-term customer engagement. Primary Responsibilities Provide clinical and technical support during electrophysiology mapping and ablation procedures using the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System. Deliver product education, procedural training, and in-service programmes for physicians and electrophysiology laboratory staff. Serve as the subject matter expert for the Affera™ platform, identifying and resolving technical and clinical support needs in customer accounts. Support new site activations, product launches, and account onboarding activities to drive successful technology adoption. Collaborate with customers to develop and optimise procedural workflows that support safe and efficient use of the platform. Partner with internal commercial, clinical, and education teams to execute territory objectives and customer development plans. Conduct market assessments and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities within the assigned territory. Maintain current knowledge of product developments, clinical evidence, regulatory requirements, and applicable instructions for use. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical electrophysiology experience. Minimum 1 year of experience independently supporting electrophysiology mapping procedures in a clinical environment. Fluency in English and Bulgarian. Valid driving licence and ability to travel extensively throughout Bulgaria. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting three-dimensional cardiac mapping systems and electrophysiology ablation procedures. Previous experience providing physician and clinical staff training in a healthcare technology or medical device environment. Knowledge of atrial fibrillation and other complex cardiac arrhythmia treatment pathways. Experience supporting technology implementation, site activation, or product launch activities within electrophysiology laboratories. Knowledge of the cardiac rhythm management or electrophysiology medical device market.
