About Site Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. Position Summary We have an opportunity for a Director, Project Management to join our team. This role provides leadership to the Bioanalytical facility’s Project Management team, ensuring all projects are managed effectively and meet client expectations. The Director will be an active member of the Global Project Management team, contributing to global objectives and driving the development of the function. As part of the site leadership team, this position supports site decisions and initiatives while striving to meet revenue, metrics, and goals. The Director promotes continuous improvement and collaboration across Sales, Operations, Client Services, EH&S, and QA to deliver the highest level of client service. Location: Kansas City, MO 100% Onsite The Role Deliver programs within agreed timelines, budget, scope, and quality targets. Meet site revenue goals, forecasting objectives, and business metrics. Maintain high client satisfaction through effective project delivery and escalation management. Lead and develop the Project Management team, including performance management and coaching. Oversee project execution across multiple programs to ensure successful delivery. Act as client advocate and manage escalations and client communications. Partner with internal teams to ensure program readiness and resource availability. Participate in forecasting, revenue planning, and Sales & Operations Planning activities. Support business development efforts, scope changes, and new business opportunities. The Candidate Minimum Requirements Bachelor of Science in a scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8–10 years of project management experience in pharmaceuticals or a related industry. Experience in program management with significant external client interaction. Approximately 5+ years of leadership experience. Proven project management expertise. Strong client-facing and customer relationship management skills. Leadership, negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills. In-depth knowledge of the contract development/research, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent‑sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience. Preferred Skills & Background Advanced degree (Master of Science, Master of Business Administration, or Doctor of Philosophy). Experience leading multiple concurrent programs. Financial planning and scope management experience. Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives. Resource planning and workload allocation experience. Experience supporting forecasting and revenue planning activities. Ability to develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies. Experience supporting strategic and cross‑functional business initiatives. Innovative problem‑solving in evolving technical environments.
