The Opportunity As the Commercial Excellence Manager, SEA , you will play a critical role in driving disciplined commercial execution, forecast accuracy, and distributor performance across Southeast Asia. This role partners closely with country managers, distributors, supply chain, finance, marketing, and regional leadership to ensure sales growth is supported by robust planning, data-driven insights, and strong commercial governance. The role has high regional visibility and is instrumental in shaping how Abbott executes across diverse SEA markets. What You’ll Do Lead Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with distributors and country managers to review sales performance, forecast accuracy, inventory health, and operational readiness across SEA markets. Analyze sales, inventory, and market data to identify commercial risks, growth opportunities, and performance gaps, providing actionable insights to regional and country leadership. Own the regional sales and inventory dashboards, ensuring consistent tracking of KPIs, forecast assumptions, and commercial performance. Drive forecast alignment and inventory planning in partnership with country teams, distributors, supply chain, and NPI stakeholders to balance service levels and inventory risk. Consolidate and communicate monthly sales and inventory updates to regional stakeholders, ensuring transparency and decision-ready insights. Support distributor and sub-distributor strategy development, including onboarding, offboarding, and transition initiatives across SEA markets. Lead or support commercial negotiations, including pricing structures, commercial terms, and distributor agreements, ensuring alignment with regional strategy and compliance standards. Prepare commercial justifications, financial models, and scenario analyses to support distributor RFQs, purchase commitments, and transition decisions. Own and optimize Salesforce (SFDC) CRM platform to drive commercial effectiveness. Lead sales process design, standardization, and automation within SFDC. Manage data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy in CRM. Develop and maintain dashboards, pipelines, and forecasting tools. Translate business needs into SFDC configurations, workflows, and enhancements. Track and analyze sales KPIs, funnel conversion, and productivity metrics. Drive pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and deal tracking discipline. Provide actionable insights to sales leadership using SFDC data. Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Regulatory, and Country Teams to ensure aligned execution and consistent reporting to regional management. Act as a trusted commercial partner to country managers, enabling disciplined execution without direct authority. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. 5+ years’ experience in commercial excellence, sales operations, business analytics, or regional commercial roles within healthcare, diagnostics, or medical devices. Strong experience working with distributors and multi-country stakeholders across emerging and developed markets. Proven capability in data analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and commercial decision support. High level of stakeholder influence, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, cross-cultural environment. Advanced Excel / BI skills; experience with dashboards and performance management tools preferred.
