Field Medical Affairs Manager – HIV ( “North Rhine-Westphalia / Hesse” ) At ViiV Healthcare , we believe great Medical Affairs is about more than scientific expertise. As a Field Medical Affairs Manager , you will partner with healthcare professionals across Berlin and eastern Germany to advance scientific exchange in HIV. You will collaborate with large patient centers, investigators and multidisciplinary care teams, bringing evidence to life while listening carefully to the needs and insights of the community. Qualifications We welcome applicants from a broad range of scientific backgrounds. You could be successful in this role if you have: A university degree in a relevant scientific discipline that qualifies you for a field-based medical role (for example biology, biochemistry, medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology, microbiology, immunology, public health or another life science discipline). Strong scientific thinking and the ability to critically evaluate and communicate clinical evidence. Excellent communication skills in German and English. A willingness to travel regularly throughout Berlin and eastern Germany. A valid driver’s licence. Previous experience in Medical Affairs can be an advantage, but it is not essential . We also encourage applications from scientists working in academia, clinical research, clinical practice, patient-focused organisations or other scientific environments who are excited to transition into Field Medical. Key Responsibilities Build trusted scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals, investigators and regional opinion leaders. Translate clinical evidence into meaningful scientific discussions that support patient care. Gather medical insights and help shape local and global medical strategy. Support clinical research, investigator collaborations and evidence generation. Deliver engaging scientific education for external and internal audiences. Contribute to scientific communications, congress activities and cross-functional projects. Ensure all activities are conducted with scientific integrity, compliance and a strong patient focus. These ranges take into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position may offer an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
