Labcorp is seeking a Sourcing Center of Excellence Intern to join our Global Sourcing & Procurement Team located in Burlington, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Work Schedule: Days/Hours: Monday–Friday / 40 hours per week Job Responsibilities: Support strategic sourcing and procurement projects, including spend analysis, supplier research, and market analysis. Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and greater efficiency. Assist with development and enhancement of sourcing tools, templates, processes, and reporting. Support cross-functional projects with Sourcing, Finance, Operations, Legal, and other business stakeholders. Research industry trends, supplier capabilities, and best practices to support sourcing strategies. Prepare presentations, dashboards, and executive-ready materials to communicate project findings and recommendations. Minimum Qualifications: Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program. Working towards a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Additional Job Standards: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Demonstrated interest in supply chain, procurement, business operations, or strategic sourcing. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization or analytics tools is a plus. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to organize multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment. Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data and business information. Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct. Internship 2027 Dates: June 1, 2027–August 13, 2027 About the Team: Global Sourcing & Procurement is responsible for helping Labcorp strategically manage its external spend, supplier relationships, and procurement processes across the organization. The Sourcing Center of Excellence (COE) supports the broader Sourcing organization through strategic capabilities, process improvement, analytics, sourcing tools, governance, and innovative approaches that enable better business outcomes. As a member of the Sourcing COE, the intern will gain exposure to how a global healthcare organization uses data, technology, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to make strategic sourcing and procurement decisions.
