Job Function: Finance Job Sub Function: Tax Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines Job Description: Role Summary The Senior Tax Analyst will support tax reporting and accounting, tax reconciliations, direct and indirect tax compliance, audit, and advisory activities for a few markets in Asia Pacific, including the Philippines. In this role, you will work closely with country, regional or global teams to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting, maintain direct and indirect tax compliance, support business decisions, and improve tax processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys combining technical tax expertise, business partnership, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with country tax centers to manage and execute corporate income tax provisioning, reporting, and effective tax rate analysis for assigned entities. Collaborate closely with the Global Service Finance team to effectively execute income tax accounting and reconciliation processes. Support direct and indirect tax compliance across selected Asia-Pacific markets in accordance with tax regulations, accounting standards, internal policies, and SOX controls. Prepare and review indirect tax reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate timely corrections to ensure alignment among accounting records, tax returns, and supporting documentation. Initiate tax process improvements and identify automation opportunities that reduce manual work, standardize workflows, strengthen controls, and improve accuracy and efficiency. Assist with tax audits and government inquiries, including the preparation of supporting documentation and responses. Monitor regulatory developments, implement tax law changes, and provide tax guidance to Finance and other business teams. Collaborate with country, region or global tax teams on reporting, planning, and transfer pricing matters. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer or Data Science or a related field. Three to five years of experience in tax, accounting or data analytics — experience with tax accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance or tax audit management would be a plus. Knowledge of direct and indirect tax concepts, tax accounting principles—including ASC 740, US GAAP, PFRS, and SOX controls would be a plus. Professional certification, such as CPA, CMA, or CIA would be a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience using digital tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, OneSource, Robotic Processing Automation, MS-copilot would be a plus. Analytical, agile, organized, attentive to details, and strong ownership mindset. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, problem solve and suggest improvement.
