Work Flexibility: Onsite Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Overtime may be required to support business needs Location : 6001 Oak Canyon STE 100, Irvine, CA Summary: As a Senior Research and Development (R&D) Technician, you will provide hands-on technical support to engineers and scientists in the development, testing, and analysis of products, materials, processes, and equipment for Stryker Inari. You will work both independently and as part of cross-functional project teams, supporting prototyping, process development and validation, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation. What You Will Do: Provide hands-on technical support for R&D projects, including product development, prototyping, testing, materials, processes, and equipment. Partner with engineers to develop work instructions and support the development and validation of new processes and test methods. Serve as a technical resource and lead cross-functional training on new processes, materials, equipment, test methods, and prototypes. Perform product testing, analyze data, calculate statistics, and contribute findings to technical and product test reports. Troubleshoot technical issues, evaluate events to identify root causes, and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Operate complex test and measurement equipment, support equipment calibration and preventative maintenance, and train others on proper use. Coordinate assigned project activities, monitor progress against deliverables, and identify necessary equipment, tools, materials, and supplies, including working with vendors when needed. Maintain compliance with quality requirements by following validated methods, specifications, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ensuring testing and documentation are accurate and complete. What You Need: Required: High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of relevant technical experience Experience working in a clean room setting or building with catheter-based technologies Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel) Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 pounds Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree with focus in engineering or a technical science Direct experience utilizing test or measurement equipment (ex. calipers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters) Experience with coiling/braiding, welding and/or soldering of small-scale items $32.22 - $44.57 USD Hourly Travel Percentage: 0% Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
