Customer Service Specialist

The Opportunity: The Customer Service Specialist, Mining supports customer accounts within the Mining business by coordinating order processing, production documentation, shipping activities, inventory needs, and related administrative support. This role partners with customers and internal production, distribution, and project teams to help ensure orders are processed accurately, customer requirements are addressed, and products are delivered in a timely manner. The position also maintains accurate records and provides day-to-day support for assigned customer accounts. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 1-3 years Customer Service experience High school diploma or GED required. Experience with SAP, C4C is preferred. Previous customer service, order management, administrative, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines. Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established processes and procedures. HOW YOU WILL THRIVE Sales orders entry Prepare and print order-specific documents, labels, and shipping materials. Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize orders and support customer requirements. Respond to production, distribution, order status, and delivery inquiries. Coordinate and support customer inventory counts, as needed. Monitor daily order activity to support requested delivery dates and customer commitments. Coordinate shipping activities for assigned accounts to support accurate and timely delivery. Maintain required records and filing, including production work orders and shipment documentation. Provide general administrative and operational support to Project Managers and other internal partners. Provide process guidance and support to associates involved with assigned customer accounts, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions) Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Although the associate primarily works in an office environment, while performing the duties of this job, the associate can be exposed to an industrial warehouse environment. Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems. A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on a routine basis. Some physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs. but can be up to 50 lbs.
