About This Role: As the Associate Director of Service Delivery for MCN ( Manufacturing Controlled Network) Global Solutions, you'll play a crucial role in leading the planning, governance, delivery, and support for Biogen's global Manufacturing Control Network technology platform. This position is vital in ensuring that all manufacturing sites operate seamlessly on secure and reliable platforms that meet regulatory, cybersecurity, and operational continuity requirements. You will set priorities, allocate resources, manage project delivery, and oversee budgets while fostering internal team development and ensuring service provider excellence across global manufacturing facilities. As part of the Manufacturing IT leadership team, you will influence area priorities and investment decisions, aligning them with business objectives and annual plans. Your contributions will be integral to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of Biogen's manufacturing processes. This position can be based in either Cambridge, MA location or Research Triangle Park, NC location. The pay range posted encompasses the pay range for both potential work locations. Actual pay will be determined by the selected candidate’s work location, as well as relevant experience and qualifications. What You’ll Do: Lead and govern the global MCN architecture roadmap, including technology adoption, standardization, lifecycle planning, and platform services such as data replication and recovery. Provide departmental leadership for cybersecurity, infrastructure resilience, and operational continuity of Biogen’s global MCN environment. Manage the execution of MCN projects across multiple production environments by developing project plans, tracking milestones, and coordinating resources. Lead tactical delivery of infrastructure modernization and cybersecurity initiatives to improve platform reliability and security. Develop and manage the annual MCN platform budget, including investment prioritization and vendor spend . Lead and develop professional staff and extended partner resources by setting priorities and coaching performance. Coordinate project execution with site teams, Manufacturing IT, Infrastructure & Operations, Cybersecurity, vendors, and service providers. Influence investment decisions aligned to business objectives and annual plans. Establish standards and lifecycle practices that reduce risk and ensure secure, compliant platforms. Approve MCN standards, project deliverables, roadmap priorities, and team objectives within approved plans and policies. Who You Are: You are a strategic thinker with a strong background in IT architecture and infrastructure. Your deep understanding of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance makes you a trusted leader in managing complex technology platforms. You excel in fostering teamwork and developing professional staff, and you possess a keen ability to align resources with departmental objectives . Your experience in the pharmaceutical industry equips you with the necessary skills to navigate and manage projects within regulated environments, ensuring operational excellence. Required Skills: BS/BA required in Life Sciences, engineering, or IT related Discipline. 10+ years of relevant experience as an IT OT engineer in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent. Deep knowledge of IT architecture, IT infrastructure, IT quality, and cybersecurity. Experience managing geographically dispersed systems integration partners for critical IT applications. Command of software validation and GxP processes in a Life Sciences regulated environment. Experience supporting compliance and internal/external audits. Preferred Skills: Strong leadership and people development skills. Excellent project management and resource coordination abilities. Ability to manage complex cybersecurity and infrastructure challenges. Job Level: Management Additional Information The base compensation range for this role is: $160,000.00-$220,000.00 Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
