The Opportunity: Performs assigned work tasks and may attend scheduled classes and complete related study Job description –Internal Product Specialist - Account activation & Direct Marketing Job Title: Apprentice – Targeted Sales Actions, Datamining & Technical Support Job Objectives As part of the IPs Team: Support sales performance - Drive incremental sales within existing contracted accounts by identifying untapped customer contacts and purchasing potential, executing targeted commercial campaigns, promoting strategic products and converting customer engagement into qualified sales opportunities. Main missions - Targeted sales actions & Direct marketing Direct Marketing / Account Activation – Key Responsibilities I dentify and map relevant contacts and decision-makers within existing contracted customer accounts, Contract activation: develop targeted actions to increase current ontract adoption. Execute sales campaigns to promote selected products, categories, new launches, promotions and strategic supplier initiatives. Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on customer profile, purchasing history, contract coverage and portfolio potential. Generate and qualify commercial leads through proactive customer contact and transfer relevant opportunities to the appropriate Sales or specialist teams. Proactively contact customers by email, phone and digital channels to introduce relevant products, solutions, promotions and contractual benefits. Follow up marketing campaigns and quotations to convert customer interest into concrete sales opportunities and orders. Support the adoption of strategic product ranges, including VWR Collection / proprietary products and priority supplier portfolios. Collaboration with Sales & IPS: Work closely with Account Managers, Sales Specialists and IPS teams to coordinate actions, share qualified leads and avoid duplication of customer contact. CRM & performance tracking: Record activities, contacts, leads and outcomes in CRM and monitor KPIs such as contacts created, campaigns executed, leads generated, opportunities, conversion and incremental sales. - Support technique (Internal Product Specialist ) Provide a first level of technical response on selected product the ranges. Technical responses and realization of customer offers and follow-up of offers. - Management of commercial offers Track and relaunch customer offers to maximize conversion rate Consolidate feedback from the field to refine future proposals - Skills and qualities required Strong interest in developing sales and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts. Customer-oriented approach – Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into relevant product or commercial proposals. Proactive prospecting skills – Comfortable identifying and approaching new contacts within existing customer organizations. Communication skills – Confident communicating with customers by phone, email and digital channels. Sales development skills – Ability to identify cross-selling, upselling and portfolio penetration opportunities. Sensitivity for data, appetite for analysis (advanced Excel required) Good ability to structure and use customer files Interest in scientific products and technical environment Organization, rigor, spirit of initiative Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a variety of interlocutors Knowledge of a CRM (Salesforce) or a data visualization tool is a plus -Education & profile sought Student in Bac +2 to Bac +4 in analytical marketing, biochemistry, biology, data/CRM or technical sales A first experience in a B2B or scientific environment is appreciated - Why join us?
