DESCRIPTION As a Demand & Order Fulfillment Planner at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will help ensure that customer demand is translated into clear supply priorities and fulfilled on time. You will work closely with Commercial, Production Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse and Logistics teams to manage demand, monitor customer orders, identify delivery risks and drive resolution of supply constraints. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage demand, forecasts and customer orders for assigned products. Monitor backlog, requested delivery dates, supply availability and customer commitments. Identify shortages and fulfillment risks and coordinate mitigation and recovery actions. Align priorities across Production Planning, Commercial, Purchasing, Warehouse and Logistics. Support allocation and prioritization decisions when demand exceeds available supply. Perform demand and order-management activities in SAP and ensure data accuracy. Monitor key KPIs such as backlog, delivery performance and forecast accuracy. Help build and continuously improve Demand planning, Order fulfillment and other Supply Chain processes, work instructions, standards and daily operating routines. REQUIREMENTS Practical experience in demand planning, order management, customer fulfillment, supply planning or a related supply-chain role. Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage. Good understanding of demand, supply, customer orders, lead times, inventory and fulfillment principles. Good end-to-end supply-chain understanding and ability to assess how demand and supply decisions impact customer service, inventory and production. Strong analytical skills and good Excel/Power BI capabilities. Ability to work with incomplete or changing information, identify risks and make fact-based recommendations. Strong ownership and accountability, with a proactive approach to issue resolution. Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills. Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment with changing customer and business requirements. Clear written and verbal communication skills in English. Continuous-improvement mindset.
