The Role At ICON, our Business Information team plays a critical role in helping secure new business by delivering high-quality, strategic responses to client and prospect requests. As an RFI Writer II , you'll be a key member of our Global Commercial Services and Proposals team, responsible for developing, writing, editing and finalising responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and other pre-sales documents. Working closely with Business Development leaders and subject matter experts across the organisation, you'll gather, shape and communicate complex information into compelling, client-focused responses. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong writer who enjoys collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, managing multiple projects, and working to firm deadlines in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Be Doing Lead and coordinate the end-to-end RFI process from kick-off through submission. Organise and facilitate meetings with Business Development teams, operational leaders, VPs, and subject matter experts. Write, compile and edit content to ensure responses are accurate, compelling, and delivered with a consistent voice. Gather and coordinate information from subject matter experts across the business. Partner with Business Development teams to develop strategic and tailored responses for prospective clients. Manage timelines, priorities and stakeholder input to ensure high-quality deliverables are completed on schedule. Maintain and update the RFI Content Library, ensuring content remains current and relevant. Build expertise within assigned service areas and contribute strategic insight to discussions and proposal development activities. Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive greater efficiencies within the team. Support strategic partnership RFIs and RFPs with guidance from senior team members. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is a confident communicator, highly organised, and able to transform technical or business information into clear, professional content. You may be a proposal writer, bid writer, communications specialist, project coordinator, business support professional, or someone whose role has involved significant written communication and stakeholder management. Key Skills & Experience Strong written communication and editing skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience creating, reviewing, or coordinating professional business documents. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to firm deadlines. Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence working with a broad range of subject matter experts. Strong organisational and project management capabilities. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate sound judgement. Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills. A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Experience using Microsoft Office applications. Experience with SharePoint is advantageous, although training will be provided. Qualifications Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not essential. 1-3 years of professional experience in writing, proposals, bids, communications, business operations, project coordination, or a related field preferred.
