Job Description Summary The Head, Global Security for the Americas Region will lead investigations across a dynamic and diverse region, helping protect our people, patients, assets, and reputation throughout the Americas. This person will oversee complex, high-impact investigations, partner with senior regional stakeholders to address critical risks, and drive excellence in investigative practices across the region. This is an opportunity to combine strategic regional leadership with operational execution, champion servant leadership, and embed the responsible use of artificial intelligence and augmented reasoning (AIAR) into investigative practices to strengthen effectiveness, compliance, and business resilience throughout the Americas. Please note closing date for applications is 2 weeks from initial posting date Job Description Key Responsibilities: Implement and execute global investigations strategy, standards, governance, and capabilities across the Americas region, ensuring consistent delivery and maximum impact for the company Lead impartial, fact-based investigations into alleged internal misconduct and uphold Global Security standards to protect employees, patients, facilities, products, information, and reputation Ensure high-quality case management, reporting, and performance tracking across regional investigations Lead and develop regional investigative and security capabilities through coaching and talent development, fostering a high-performance culture to drive operational excellence Strengthen incident response, crisis management, business continuity, and regional resilience across the Americas through effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate multi-jurisdictional security threats. Provide regional oversight and coordination of executive protection activities across the Americas, ensuring alignment with global standards, business priorities, and evolving risk profiles. Build and maintain effective relationships with law enforcement agencies, industry security networks, and external investigative partners across the Americas to strengthen prevention, response, intelligence sharing, and investigative outcomes. Own and manage the Global Security Americas budget, ensuring disciplined planning, effective resource allocation and alignment of investment with regional priorities and business needs. Promote the responsible adoption and application of AIAR across the Americas region to enhance investigative effectiveness, empower teams, and support innovation grounded in sound data, strong governance, ethics, human judgment, and accountability. Essential Requirements Extensive leadership experience in investigations, security, risk and resilience Proven expertise and experience in leading complex internal and external investigations including fraud and FCPA matters Strong track record of leading regional teams through servant leadership and cross functional programs to deliver results within a matrix organization Demonstrated ability to navigate complex risk environments, drive organizational change, and make high-impact decisions with sound judgment and compassion Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across legal, compliance, and risk functions, including supporting the responsible adoption of AIAR Excellent communication skills with strong executive presence and stakeholder influence Languages: Portuguese and/or Spanish desirable Benefits & Rewards The salary for this position is expected to range between $185,500 and $344,500 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. Liderar investigações imparciais, baseadas em fatos, relacionadas a alegações de má conduta interna, garantindo o cumprimento dos padrões de Segurança Global para proteger colaboradores, pacientes, instalações, produtos, informações e a reputação da empresa. Garantir alta qualidade na gestão de casos, elaboração de relatórios e monitoramento de desempenho das investigações conduzidas na região. Liderar e desenvolver as capacidades regionais de investigação e segurança por meio de coaching e desenvolvimento de talentos, promovendo uma cultura de alta performance e excelência operacional. Fortalecer a resposta a incidentes, gestão de crises, continuidade dos negócios e resiliência regional nas Américas por meio de parcerias eficazes com stakeholders internos e externos, mitigando ameaças de segurança em múltiplas jurisdições.</p
