The Opportunity As the Supply Planning Manager, APAC (Infectious Diseases) , you will be responsible for finished goods supply planning through to order fulfilment for the APAC region. The objective of the role is to ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery in full to APAC affiliates and distribution markets through close collaboration with supply sites and global planning and customer service teams. You will support sales by showing a sense of urgency and ensuring timely new product launches, while assisting the Supply Chain Director in overseeing end-to-end daily supply chain operations. The role also includes managing the consolidation and reporting of supply chain KPIs for the APAC region and supporting continuous improvement in supply chain performance through the implementation and maintenance of standardized processes, planning best practices, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. You will be responsible for the development of new tools and reporting and support training and roll-out across the region. What You’ll Do Own APAC supply chain KPIs. Lead order fulfilment and supply planning operational execution across the region, including block resolution, allocation date management, and transport planning. Respond to operational escalations from commercial and supply teams. Drive order fulfilment meetings with global planning, customer service teams, affiliates, and distributor markets. Manage distribution market planning, allocation monitoring, transport planning, pre-booking, and order fulfilment block resolution. Own regional replenishment consolidation and submission to global supply chain. Lead regional operations replenishment plans integrating all country-level inputs. Govern inter-country supply allocation decisions. Drive supply constraint management across the region. Define escalation paths and protocols for supply disruptions and failures. Act as the escalation point for issues beyond country-level resolution. Coordinate cross-country supply risk and crisis response activities. Manage allocation decisions across markets during constrained supply situations. Define the regional automation roadmap, including WMS, TMS, and demand planning initiatives. Lead digital supply chain transformation initiatives across all countries. Standardize technology platforms and supply chain data frameworks regionally. Drive process automation to reduce manual effort and errors. Lead weekly order fulfilment meetings with global planning and customer service teams. Manage planning exceptions such as unforecasted orders, orders below MOQ, and orders within standard lead times. Monitor allocation date changes to identify and manage revenue risks. Collaborate with regional demand planning teams on tender timelines, risks, and supply planning requirements. Manage the consolidation and reporting of supply chain KPIs and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Provide performance reporting to management through regional dashboards. Support inventory strategy reviews and maintain target safety stock levels while optimizing working capital. Support implementation of supply chain policies and standard operating procedures across the region. Develop and roll out standard reports across APAC. Act as a subject matter expert for new supply chain systems and tools, providing training to team members. Manage periodic updates and publication of supply chain planning master data for the region. Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, demand forecasting, supply planning, and order fulfilment in a regional capacity. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field, or relevant business experience. Knowledge of advanced stock control, including independent demand definition, dependent demand definition, material requirements planning (MRP), inventory classification, ABC analysis, inventory risk matrix, strategic and seasonal stock management, inventory error sources, inventory counting, and cycle counting processes. Ability to propose supply chain improvements in consultation with stakeholders and apply inventory control techniques. Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), capacity requirements planning, capacity constraints, master scheduling, and MRP processes. Ability to manage new product transitions, minimize excess and obsolete inventory, balance supply with demand, assess supply plan risks, manage supply constraints, and allocate limited supply. Knowledge of supply chain performance measurement and tracking. Strong written and verbal communication skills across cultures. Ability to influence key stakeholders. Ability to develop business-oriented results with the appropriate level of detail and keep key stakeholders informed. Proven track record of problem solving. Strong IT skills with experience in Excel, Power BI, and awareness of other analytical tools. Fluency in English. Additional languages are a plus. Working experience in the healthcare industry in a regional oversight capacity is preferred. APICS or other industry certification is preferred.
