The 6-month Co-op program at Bristol Myers Squibb offers an exceptional career experience at our state-of-the-art Biologics facility or our cutting-edge Cell Therapy campus in Devens, MA. Join us and be part of the next generation of medicine! The program includes formal and informal networking, development, and mentorship of participants with a focus on building and advancing professional skills in the BioPharma industry. Candidates will be matched with projects based on skills and interests to support projects and continuous improvement initiatives at the Devens Campus. Projects are associated with functional areas including: Commercial Biologics Manufacturing – Engineering, Operations, Technology Transfer Cell Therapy Manufacturing Quality - Ensuring compliance with health authority regulations and internal standards All projects will be defined with key deliverables and provide candidates with opportunities to develop new skills and work directly on key aspects of the business. Example deliverables include process optimization, documentation and knowledge management updates, workflow or tool development, and continuous improvement. This full-time six-month co-op program will take place January through July of 2027. Please ensure that you can support a full-time work schedule (40 hours per week, 5 days per week M-F) for these positions. Key Responsibilities Examples of Key Responsibilities: Knowledge or understanding of biotech process such as cell culture and purification Support structured problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment Review, organize and/or maintain technical documentation Analyze data or trends to identify root causes and develop practical, actionable recommendations Collaborate cross-functionally within Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Automation, and Supply Chain teams Explore and help pilot emerging tools and technologies Qualifications & Experience Currently enrolled in a Science or Engineering Bachelor of Science, Masters, or Doctorate program (STEM) Interest and passion for biotechnology, specifically biologics/cell therapy processes Strong communication skills and attention to detail Experience working in highly collaborative environment, ability to work in a team Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as demonstrated through previous experiences which may include: laboratory experience, project design course(s), research projects, knowledge of programming/scientific software, and/or previous co-ops/internships Willingness to gown into controlled manufacturing spaces when required All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment. Compensation Overview: $24.00 to $45.00 Pay for this internship/co‑op position is provided in accordance with local market practices and applicable laws. Pay may be offered as an hourly rate and/or monthly stipend, or other locally compliant structure. Pay is determined based on objective factors such as academic level, relevant experience, skills, and work location. Interns and co‑op participants may be eligible for limited benefits depending on program structure, work location, and local requirements. This is a temporary, time‑bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co‑op program and does not guarantee continued or permanent employment following program completion.
