Analytical Scientist – Protein Characterization

Position Summary: Eurofins PSS is seeking an Electrophoresis and Protein Chromatography scientist with hands‑on lab experience to support analytical testing. This role focuses on executing routine lab studies, preparing materials, analyzing data, and supporting process characterization for early- and late-stage programs. Job Responsibilities: Perform and support analytical testing of biopharmaceutical products using CGE, HPSEC and other related protein characterization techniques. Apply scientific ownership and critical thinking to evaluate workflows and proactively communicate observations, risks, and process improvements Maintain accurate, compliant documentation within a method development environment May be expected to work with Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) projects in Occupational Exposure Band 4 (OEB4) and/or OEB5, as well as other OEB4 materials Basic Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s in a scientific discipline At least 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience in biopharmaceutical protein analysis Experience with protein analytical techniques, including: CE-SDS / CGE HPSEC / SEC-HPLC Preferred Qualifications Experience with buffer prep, protein handling, and assay execution Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills Experience with stability assays, including thermal or colloidal stability assessments Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as: CGE, HPSEC, SDS-PAGE, CE-SDS, cIEF, and related protein characterization techniques Experience working in a method development or non-GMP development environment Exposure to automation or high-throughput workflows a plus Compensation: $28-$30 per hour What we offer: Excellent full time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options Life and disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is a Disabled and Veteran Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
