Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join our Anatomic Pathology team located in Seattle, WA Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm / 40hrs per week Job Responsibilities: • Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations • Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation • Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision • Support approved laboratory projects • Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures Minimum Qualifications • Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program Additional Job Standards : • Interest in laboratory science • Interest in diagnostics industry • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures • Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts • Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision • Maintain professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Join Labcorp’s 2027 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
